   We went for brunch, the SMOKED STEELHEAD LOX, SOUR CHERRY PANCAKES and SMASHBURGER were a hit. The wine list was reasonable and the atmosphere was really nice. There's a lot of natural light in the space! Will go again :)

   Food was great and tasty for the most part. The bison carpaccio was great. Halibut and Sunchoke pasta were delicious and right on point. The duck needs some tweaking as it did not taste great and was too tough. The deserts were great as well. The service definitely needs some improvement. We had the unfortunate chance of being seated in a section with large party and as a result the service was negatively affected. Although our server was very pleasant, our wine and water was never topped off and we had to ask for refills from different people. When the water was topped, it was only done for the person who asked for it, instead of the whole party, which confirmed lack of attention to details. The water glass had a bad bleach after taste and had to ask to change it twice. Once the food was brought, there was no quality check and we were left to our own vice. It also took over one hour to be served the main course, which I think was due to the party a head of us. The ambience is great, however I did not get to enjoy it much seating right beside the service door as there was constant interruption by employees going in an out of the kitchen. The restaurant has fantastic potential and we will definitely go back. We just hope all the kinks are worked out by then.

   Food was delicious and ambiance was beautiful. Service wasn’t need to the same level. - our waiter wasn’t attentive - water glass wasn’t kept topped up (had to ask) - had to stop the waiter to ask for another drink order as we weren’t being asked - waiter led us to believe that it was best to order a side with our main, but when the main arrived it was more than sufficient. Ended up taking the side home. - the main took 45 minutes to arrive after finishing our starter

   The meal and service was superb! As the have a seasonal menu, some items on menu were unavailable but the server told us the substitute. Service was a nice pace and we were not rushed. It was a beautiful space to enjoy food and sit back and chat over dessert.

   Three out of 4 of us were celebrating birthdays, and so the champagne and dessert was a very nice touch! Our server was very sweet, but her inexperience showed in her service. Our food was quite slow arriving, and we got the impression that the toast had been sitting for a while as it was rock hard. Otherwise, it was good. The place is stunning though, and may well justify the higher than usual prices for breakfast. Mr. August was extremely pleasant and charming… very professional. We will return to see the landscape when it isn’t covered by snow!

   This is my fourth visit to Overlea. I love that it's a rooftop restaurant and the decor is beautiful. I've never had a bad meal. The one issue today for lunch was the fries. I love thin crispy fries but these were a mixture of perfect fries and way over done, and as the fries cooled off they got harder. I really hope for the price clients are paying that the fries are not getting reheated or deep fried 2 and 3 times.

   Food is quite good, but not as wonderful as the decor and the views on both sides. Server was excellent!

    Our entire table agreed that this was the best meal we have all had in a long time! Food and drinks were fabulous! And our server, Kyle, was so friendly and had a great energy. Definitely will recommend Overlea to everyone. Cheers!
