   Sat right away w/ reservation. Took 15 min to be greeted. Had to ask waitress for another drink. Signed up for Valentines meal bc of an advertisement they did a month ago $130 per couple with $5 cocktail special. When we get there the prices changed to $150 per couple and $13 for the cocktail. Hubs got 2 drinks ended up being $21 each…also cheesecake was on original valentine menu and ended up being deleted…however the chocolate fondue was absolutely delicious just wish there was more fruit and not the breading options to dip. Also wish it was dinner lighting and maybe romantic music especially for a valentines night. None of that is what a bright hustle bustle restaurant. Don’t think we’ll choose here again for one of our special evenings.

   We were honestly disappointed at the time to be served. We ordered a couple cocktails and it took close to 20 to 25 minutes for drinks to arrive— and of course just minutes ahead of meal. I will say that Mgr and server offered free desserts to help mitigate longer than usual wait. The meal was okay. Probably not on our future hit list for downtown Ft Meyers dining.

   We visited Ox Bow in mid February 2025. The view of the sunset was spectacular. As for the food, I ordered a dish that I thought was going to be a shrimp and other seafood/fish with a red sauce and rice. It had plenty fish but only a spoonful and rice atop a lot of sauce. Our waiter was very busy running in and outside, hence I didn’t get amy refills or water or even my drink.

   I’ve been several times, but today was a “girl’s lunch”. One in our group has never been and loved it. She ordered a salad with blackened mahi. I had the blackened grouper sandwich and our other friend had the grilled cheese with bacon. We all enjoyed our lunch! Can’t go wrong with Oxbow!!

   Parking is a real problem and almost impossible on a Friday night at 7:00pm when we wenrt.

    We were seeking waterside dining for lunch. It was our first visit to this great location with easy & free street parking on Sunday. We sat outdoors on the back side of restaurant. All 3 of us very much enjoyed our lunch of VA oysters, prime rib stew and seafood chowder, cobia & fish and chips. The cocktail menu was exciting and season appropriate and we were delighted for Castle & Key Harvest gin from KY (a fav of ours) to be featured & it was spectacular. Our server was great and she gave us just the right amount of attention. They had live music inside but we didn’t get to enjoy. The only critique is that the oysters seemed pre shucked. They were good but pricey and lacked the juice of a fresh shucked oyster!
