Oz Kafe is in the ByWard Market, Clarendon Courtyards, in Ottawa, Ontario. Situated in a beautiful stone and mortar historical building our restaurant provides the perfect ambiance. Our menu is European-inspired, locally sourced, and veg forward.

We are open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday. Accepting reservations for À La Carte dinner reservations as well as group and special event bookings. For more details on larger bookings and events please call or email through our website.

Closed with arrear notices in the window. Super unfortunate that OpenTable had its first review that the restaurant was closed on Sept 29th and only just closed booking for this restaurant. We showed up for a friend’s birthday reservation to find the restaurant closed. When you know a place is good and you’re local, you don’t check the reviews when making a reservation.

Horrible service with Amanda. They had all the staff quit the restaurant the night before because their tips were not paid for a while. They did not have stuff to drink. The serveur was aggressive! She looked upset and I told her to relax. She was angry .We left and our glass of wine was 24 $. Just a real bad experience. We went to the social and it was way better.

Great service and excellent atmosphere. Listed menu of approximately 5 mains - and they only had one dish left of one of them. The food was good but would suggest exploring the menu before you go to ensure there is something for everyone.

Short staffed so slow and hard to watch the team work so hard even though there were limited customers. Staff was friendly and food was good. Give it a try!

Service was one of the best we had...ever! Food was very good. If you're not from Ottawa and don't know th By Market, this place can be kinda hard to find but it's worth it.

Food was fabulous. Staff (Kevin) was incredibly knowledgeable and really enhanced our experience. Would highly recommend visiting Oz Cafe when it Ottawa.

Food is good, but portions seem to be getting smaller everytime I go. Also the server we had that night was unattentive and only wanted to chat with friends.
