   Came here for the first time in 2015, and second time 2025. The shrimp tchefuncte and the banana foster were as good as I remembered. The service was on the slow side.

   Food and ambience was great, took a group there and had an excellent experience.. our waitress and waiter was great… I believe their names were Mary and Joshua.. highly recommend

   The food and service were outstanding. The only criticism I have is the acoustics, it’s hard to hear each other talk when the strolling jazz singers are near. It was a nice touch, just made conversation a little touch but aside from that it was excellent and I’d go back.

   I’ve been here several times…always a “go to”…love the bread pudding…had the fish special and tchefuncta shrimp last night…both very good…had an oyster appetizer that was very good.

   They were super busy, waiter was super sweet and attentive but had too many tables, super nice manager/float person, but it was extremely loud, and food was just a bit overpriced for the value and quality and taste.

   Second time of going to the palace cafe in the last two weeks. What can I say food was excellent same as the staff. Thought the price was excessive on first visit until tried other restaurants found that at the moment the USA inflation has gone through the roof. Best restaurant me and my wife tried would recommend

   Had lunch the other day at Palace Café. The staff was prompt and courteous with our seating and menu selections. My Pecan catfish was good, but not the best I’ve ever had. Loved the popcorn rice and string beans to offset the richness of the meunière sauce. We asked for and were seated near a window. Nice restaurant with diverse menu.
