Located one block from the plaza and one block from the Lensic Theater. We are a Santa Fe tradition reborn. Chef Angel Franco serves up small plates, farm-fresh veggies, seasonal seafood, and handmade pasta made with local ingredients, paired with premium wines and seasonally curated craft cocktails to enjoy in an elegant and historic setting. Our tree-covered back patio and fully covered front patio are open in the warm months when weather permits. You can also dine inside our chic bar/lounge or dining room with plush booth seating.

Three of us are at Palace Prime last night as part of restaurant week. We all got the optional wine pairing as well. We really appreciated the sommelier delivering the wines and presenting each one to us with a description. The standout dinner item was the pork cheeks and the desserts. Servings were a tad on the small side and the mojo shrimp needed salt, but otherwise flavors were good. We asked for some bread to eat with shrimp (to soak up the yummy sauce) and got three small pieces of grilled sourdough. When the bill came, we saw that they charged $7 for that bread, which was a disappointment. All in all, it was a lovely evening and we would go back.

The dining room is very red but very comfortable. I was here during Restaurant Week and the restaurant was busy. The service by Benjamin was attentive and friendly. I started with Mojo shrimp, followed by Steak au poivre and French fries. Dessert was homemade (?) sherbet in the flavors of mango,, coconut and raspberry. The tastes of the food was delicious and the atmosphere friendly and helpful. I’m glad I ate there and will visit again.

Our server Tess was amazing. We came for restaurant week and enjoyed the pre-fixe menu along with a few items from the regular menu. Everything was outstanding!

This was our second visit to Palace Prime, and while I hadn’t had the opportunity to review our first experience, I found it to be quite impressive. We came in to celebrate a birthday, and although our reservation details were a bit unclear, Aaron was very accommodating and secured us a great seat in the lounge. Tess provided excellent service throughout the evening. One observation I noted, which is common in many restaurants in Santa Fe, is that if they’re not busy, they tend to start winding down operations before their official closing time. This was the only slight downside to our experience. We made a last-minute dinner reservation for 5 o’clock on a Saturday, which is a peak time in Santa Fe, and I was pleased with how everything unfolded. From the front to the back of the house, the service was exceptional. Daniel, our server, was attentive and knowledgeable, while Christine, the wine sommelier, went above and beyond. She helped us navigate a challenging situation caused by a lively party behind us by moving our table slightly and bringing us a lovely glass of champagne, which was a thoughtful touch. We were pleasantly surprised by the Restaurant Week menu, which had offerings we genuinely enjoyed, along with excellent wine pairings. The restaurant's layout and atmosphere were appealing, and the quality of both the food and service was top-notch. I highly recommend Palace Prime and also heard they offer a nice happy hour. Thank you for making our evening special!
