   What a terrible experience. The food was awful. Crab rangoons - all cream cheese. The lobster bisque was okay. The risotto was too salty, cold, and hard. It was like it was sitting for 20 minutes, probably because it was since our server took 20 minute intervals to come by. The grouper stack was unflavored. No salt, no seasoning. Service was slow. She was very nice but it wasn’t even busy. Other waiters were at tables constantly checking in. We waited for drink refills constantly. Fortunately they were willing to comp us our entree and a free drink because we ate nothing from our entrees. We were hungry leaving so went to Gators Dockside to get wings.

   Excellent! The waiter was super knowledgeable and helpful. The food came out at vastly different times but it was all fresh and the waiter was alone doing service

   We selected Palate for its menu, good reviews and location away from the Orlando tourists. There were only a few other patrons in the restaurant. We ordered the bronzed salmon and the pork chops. The salmon was a little dry and light on seasoning. The pork chops were better. The chocolate Old Fashioned was awesome!!!

   It was great! It gave me exactly what I was looking for a quite place, no heavy traffic, to eat with my Friends and Family. Great drinks and Vicky (owner) said she came up with the menu herself so everything has its own little spin on hit :) definitely would go back!

   The service from Jean-Paul was great! That is where the good starts and ends. The food was absolutely horrible. We were so embarrassed to have visitors from Northern Ireland visit us. Due to the ratings, we thought this would be a great option for 3 families. There were 2 flies in the drink of one guest (shown to Jean-Paul), the beef wellington was not fully cooked and was very doughy at the base. Three of the dishes were cold. I am not sure if they had a new bartender, but the drinks were pure syrup and no/ little alcohol. My medium steak was brought out rare and bloody. The broccolini had zero taste. It tasted like it was just boiled in water and pulled out and dished. It's the first time in a very long time I left a full uneaten plate at a restaurant.

   Great dinner with a large group of friends. Service was fantastic and the food was delicious. It was a nice night so the doors were all open. Definitely recommend!

    It’s hard to find a “ non chain” place yo eat in orlando. Palate was that and more. Great food, a lot of options, knowledgeable server, great ambiance.
