   It was a great first impression. The decor is upscale, colorful, and inviting. We soon noticed how uncomfortably cold the dining area was. Other guest were wearing their winter coats AND covering themselves with blankets provided by the restaurant staff. The four of us kept our coats and scarves on. Our shared appetizers arrived well before we received our small plates. The meatballs and cannellini beans were delicious. One cocktail was served without the requested lime. It took too long to get the wedge of lime. The same guest found the Caesar salad to be very overdressed. Another member of our party felt that the taste of the ingredients in the pork collar dish were dominated by the amount of quince in the bowl. Worst of all, one of the four entrees, another pork collar dish, was never served. My guests were half finished before the waitress arrived to address the mistake. They were completely finished and my entree had still not arrived. Bottom line: too cold for comfort, several service mistakes, and disappointing dishes.

   Wonderful atmosphere and food was very good. Pasta was fresh and they were able to accommodate gluten sensitive. The pizza was a favorite! Will definitely be back!

   Our first time dining at Palato italian kitchen was wonderful. The food was outstanding. Our server Kent was knowledgeable and attentive. We will be back.

   Booked a table for my husband and I to celebrate Valentines Day - I could not be more thrilled that this was our restaurant of choice. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, moody without being dark, modern decor and fantastic restaurant flow. I loved the atmospheric feel of upscale dining with a very approachable vibe. The hostess was punctual with our reservation and offered to check my coat for me. The table was always impeccably maintained - someone was there to remove empty plates or unused glasses very quickly and never felt imposed upon or rushed just looked after and maintained. The attention to detail on the dining experience was something you’d think to expect from a 5 star restaurant. Complimentary glass of wine upon our arrival, perfect little starter detail to the evening and soon following an amuse bouche. Our waitress Sarah was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful navigating the menu and helping us make choices throughout. I appreciated that the menu wasn’t $85+ per plate and made me feel as though I didn’t want to wait for another large holiday or big occasion to come visit - the menu pricing is a perfectly acceptable excuse for a mid-week date night. The Roasted Berkshire Pork Collar was beautifully presented on stunning mosaic plates and was packed full of flavor. The volume of food was perfectly reasonable - my husband and I each had our own entree and shared one side of the Roasted Potatoes. The almond cake was delicious although smaller portioned still equally enjoyable. No worries though because to bring the meal to a grand finale we were presented with two complimentary heart shaped macaroons 1 passion fruit and 1 chocolate and strawberry… I am woman enough to admit I asked for a second passion fruit because that little thing was beyond delightful. At the end of the night the hostess went above and beyond to help take photos for my husband and I to remember a very successful Valentine’s Day!

   Our first visit to this new restaurant. Nice atmosphere, quiet and able to visit. Pasta entrees tagliatelle and wild boar ragu and sauce with paccherie and eggplant flavorful…the pasta was under cooked and should have melted in the mouth as it is freshly made. Dessert wonderfully done and appetizer (calamari with Calabrian aioli) quite tasty.

   Had dinner in restaurant. Service was good. Food was decent but grossly over priced. E.g. shrimp dish was $46 (I think) and came with four very small single bite shrimps (and nothing else). Price / value comparable to Manhattan (not Frisco).

We strive to provide excellent quality food, and your comments about the shrimp dish and pricing have been noted. We will certainly take them into consideration as we continuously work to improve our offerings. We do have a new March menu with new price points coming out next month.     What a great new addition the to Frisco Restaurant scene, wonderful decor casual dining. On the ground floor of the new Hall Park Hotel next to the Monarch Butterfly Rest Stop, Kaleidoscope Park in the larger Hall Park opposite The Star complex. Stylish colors and lighting, 2 bars serving Italian curated cocktails. Serves Brunch (Sat & Sun) Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner all week. We did the $20 Express Lunch choice of soup, 1/2 salad, sandwich or dessert. Had the Radicchio salad and Sandwich - Eggplant, Pesto, Mozzarella, Arugala, Tomato - large serves. Well priced drinks. All food and drinks reasonable. Friend had the Radicchio salad and Turkey Club Will definitely go back. Outside patio ready in a few weeks.
