Welcome to Palmer Restaurant + Rooftop!

We are located at the Four Points by Sheraton in Penticton, just off Westminster Ave W.

Mackenzie Hospitality is excited to bring Palmer, our fourth location, to the beautiful Okanagan.

Our Rooftop, is currently open every day from 12pm - 9:30pm, boasting 180° lake and mountain views over town. The Rooftop has a separate dining experience from downstairs with a pizza forno oven, salads, and raw bar style appetizers.

    We really enjoyed our dinner, had the calamari which I would highly recommend very tender and the strip loin which was cooked to exactly what we requested. We will be going back. Thank you!

    After making reservations, specifically asking for wheelchair accessible table, I was seated at the table at the back beside the kitchen & bathrooms while many other tables were empty.

    Our first time at Palmer in August 2024 was exceptional; had steak and it was cooked perfectly, service was good, etc. Second time was okay, everything not quite as good as the first time. MIL went for lunch and said it was horrible, that the soups were watery with no flavour. Third time we went and it was not great. Prime rib was tough, mashed potatoes were cold and the veggies were undercooked. Dessert was nice though. Too bad, they started out strong.

    This is carrying on the tradition started at the Apex Gunbarrel and continued at Summerland's Shaugnessy Cove... great people presenting great food in a great atmosphere... Wonderful evening all round. Great way to celebrate a birthday (my young wife's). tnx, g.w.

    This our 3rd and last time. We eat out a lot and we have never dined at a steak house that can't cook a simple steak We had a table for 4 last night Friday September 27th. The first steak came and it was ordered medium and it was rare. The other two steaks were so tough and grisly that one of our companions was in the washroom trying to remove the stringy membrane caught in his teeth. He actually had to Do the same thing on his return home. I ordered the Crispy chicken sandwich and I had to take apart the sandwich as I realized the chicken was undercooked. We did not want to go through the same exercise of returning food like the last 2 times so paid and left Third time unlucky!!

    We had a wonderful experience at Palmer. We went before seeing a show at SOEC which was starting an hour later than originally scheduled. Our reservation was handled accordingly and both the service and food was very good. We are lucky to have such great restaurants around us here in the South Okanagan

    Bartender did not know ow how to make a proper martini. Sent dinner back and had taken off the bill. Tenderloin was leather. The bernaise was actually hollandaise with a bit of dried tarragon sprinked in. Not kidding. Enjoy dining in Penticton and go somewhere else

    Four of us met for dinner. I had a 6 ounce sirloin which was cooked correctly, but was thin, tough and sinewy. My husband’s salmon was dry and our friends burger was cold. The only meal that was good was the mushroom pasta. The drinks and wine were good. Not sure we’ll go back.
