Paloma opened in 2022 in The Van Aken District by Carl Quagliata and Zach Ladner’s Q&L Hospitality.
Paloma has been led by two remarkable young women who have been part of the Q & L Hospitality family for more than a decade. Alyssa Ladner serves as the General Manager, overseeing the front of house and the beverage program. She collaborates closely with Chef de Cuisine Ky’tana Bradley, who manages the kitchen.
Originally launched as a casual taco concept in 2022, Paloma has transformed over the past two years into something much more sophisticated. While tacos remain available at the bar, our dinner menu now showcases a selection of artfully crafted appetizers, main courses, and desserts, with steaks being a highlight. Our inspiration comes from the diverse flavors, ingredients, and techniques of Latin America.
The goal at Paloma is simple: give people the best food and the best service that we can in a space that can only be described as transformative.

Our server (Anastasia) made our experience magnificent. The food was excellent and we will definitely pla to become regulars.

This was our first time dining at Paloma, and it was excellent. Everything we ordered was so delicious. Can't wait to go back.

I went with a couple friends for dinner to Paloma and we really enjoyed it! We went on a Wednesday night for their $29 Three Course Prix Fixe Menu and we also shared a bottle of wine that was half price. The food was excellent, the service was great, and I love the NEW look of Paloma-very warm and welcoming. I'm really happy for Paloma, The VAD and Shaker...We'll be back!

Great food and great service! Guacamole was amazing and steak was as good as the top steakhouses!

Taco Tuesday only applies to bar area and the taco Tuesday menu vs the regular menu are vastly different. We had a group of 4 so the bar wasn’t really an option for us. The guac bar seems to be a big deal when it was the most mediocre guac I’ve ever had as I’m convinced it was avocados, oil, salt and pepper. The ceviche was watered down and tasteless. A really big bummer experience all around.

Drinks were great. Our server (bartender) since we were sitting at the bar…was fantastic, attentive, honest. Food had some good hits and some slight misses. Hits: guacamole, chips, tortillas, sirloin steak, bacon side (i mean, how can you go wrong),the brown sauce, the corn side Miss: beef tartar was slightly lacking in flavor. The salsa was a bit too tart…borderline saucy ketchup…i love a smooth salsa: but this needed maybe a little more depth of flavor, the chimichurri (wasn’t a miss, but not the best one i’ve had…or the brown sauce was just THAT good). and the potatoes: the sauce was great but could use more of it, but some of the larger pieces of potato could have been fried or cooked longer… I Didnt try dessert but would have appreciated a chocolate dessert of some sort…mexican hot chocolate or something like that?
