   Food is amazing but the drinks are terrible. We ordered a Caesar and a mojito. The Caesar we returned it because it was terrible. The mojito it was ok but not for the price.

   It was our first time here and we had high expectations being that we tried other places with similar concept. The experience was not so good. We had a reservation and when we came in we were seated at our table. We sat in the table for a good 5-8 minutes just waiting for a server to come by to greet us and offer drinks but no one came until my husband called on a staff member and told that person that it was our first time dining there. Finally a server came by to welcome us and asked us for our drinks. I ordered Diet Coke and our serve never brought it to me. It wasn’t until I had to follow up with another server about it after a good 15 minutes before they brought me one. There was a buffet style salad bar and some appetizers which was unlimited. For soup selection there was only one offering which was the beef stew which wasn’t even hot. Their chimichurri was good and the salad greens & vegetables they had out were fresh. As for the meats, it took a while for some of the beef cuts to to circulate our way, and this is what we were really excited about but it was really disappointing. The special was bland and rubbery as well as the sirloins. The tenderloin wrapped in bacon, lamb, and pork cuts were good! The grilled pineapple was okay. For dessert we got the sticky toffee pudding which wasn’t even hot probably our favourite part of the meal! I don’t think I would go back or recommend the place. But at least we’ve tried it once.

    We had Valentine's dinner at Pampa Edmonton West. There was no parking available near the restaurant, so we had to walk a little. We were greeted politely and informed that our dinner experience could not exceed 1 hour and 40 minutes. We left much earlier! The waitress was attentive and informative, but the issues began as soon as the meat servers started attending to our table. Within 10 minutes, our table was a mess because they lacked the professionalism to serve the meat properly. A couple of them spoke poor English, making it unclear what type of meat they were offering. To make matters worse, the noise level was extreme, as the restaurant was cramped and fully booked. The food quality was highly questionable—almost everything was "over": oversmoked, overgrilled, and overgarlicky. Out of 11 or 12 types of meat, we only enjoyed two. The crème brûlée was overburned on top, making it bitter, and the strawberries that came with it were half green. And this so-called dining "experience" cost $155 for two. Pampa is an overpriced, overrated eatery with little to no value for money.
