Founded by Panayot Papadulos in 1898 and leaving a trace in history like wine, Pano bears the traces of Papadulos, a Greek family living in Samatya. Papadulos, who sold all his property to make the Pano, beautifies Pano over the years and makes it the only wine-selling building in history.

Pano, whose story is as deep as wine, continues 'without getting old' in the same place with their increasing friendships and increasing glasses over the years. The winery that Panayot died for brings his friends together again… This magical atmosphere leaves a memory for everyone who passes by, and without a doubt, Pano takes him on a long and deep journey from his youth to the present.

The high ceiling, the delicate violin recital playing inside, is perhaps the only beautiful thing reminiscent of Beyoğlu..

Service was great but the food was very poor. The crispy shrimp was cold and the clams in my pasta were so horrible I spat them out.

Pasta wie in Italien! Dazu haben wir sehr leckeren Rotwein aus der Türkei genossen. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und Kommunikation auf Englisch kein Problem. Absolute Empfehlung!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the oldest wine restaurant in Istanbul, and it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant's authentic and antique decor immediately transports you to another era, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, with a menu that offers a perfect blend of traditional flavors and modern culinary techniques. Each dish was crafted with care and attention to detail, leaving my taste buds thoroughly satisfied. The wine selection was equally impressive, featuring a wide range of local and international wines that perfectly complemented the meal. Service was top-notch, with the staff being both attentive and friendly. Overall, this restaurant is a gem in Istanbul. We were early for our reservation and they were great to fit us in. The service, food and atmosphere were amazing. What a great start to a few days in Istanbul thank you!

Basically a tourist trap. Food extremely over priced, I asked for the beef medallions and they came with two thin steaks, and it was the most expensive dish in the menu. The wine also failry expensive considering the low quality of it. The service and the place itself are not bad but considering you are going there to eat is not worth it.

Great atmosphere- delicious local wines- attentive service… but food was mediocre. Pasta was bland and boring. Salmon was dry and side veg tasted like they were either from a can or previously frozen. Would recommend for wine and an appetizer- then head somewhere else for dinner.

We really enjoyed this place. It has a great atmosphere, it’s the oldest wine house in Istanbul. The wine was amazing and the service was great as well. We paired our wine with the cheese platter, totally delicious.
