The food and atmosphere were just great. The live music was really nice, and the drinks were incredible

It was amazing. Quiet spot for us and the service was 100%. I highly recommend. We had steak ( rib eye 22oz) , was very tender and tasty. Again, highly recommend and we will be back

This was our first visit to Papi's and it certainly won't be our last! The entire evening is an EXPERIENCE. From the entrance and talk from the butchers, to the decor and the service, let alone the food. It was incredible. We had someone named (Christanth?) I know I am blanking on her name but it was a spin on Chris and she was fantastic. Took the time to understand what we wanted and brought us a mocktail menu and an alcohol free bubbly to start. Lovely! The bread and pickles were so good. The bread was kind of crispy and so flavourful. The beet pickles were so tangy and sweet at the same time. Then we had 6 oysters - loved how the lemons were wrapped to avoid the seeds - it's the small things that make a difference! Then we shared the table side caesar - what a performane and John was so happy to have us ask questions and chat. The tastiest Caesar salad we have ever had! I had the halibut and my husband had the chicken. The potatoes, sauce and vegetables were cooked to perfection. We also ordered the mac and cheese to try it as well as the brussel sprouts. I don't know what kind of witchcraft they do on those brussel sprouts but they were out of this world good. We shared a creme brulee for dessert and the extra touch of "happy anniversary" on the chocolate was so sweet. There was an incredible saxaphone player during service and he had the right amount of volume in the room. The decor is dark and broody like Al Capone era and the fresh roses and lamps on each table were a lovely touch. We haven't had a meal like this in years - the Red Rabbit in Stratford was our long standing favourite ( they are no longer in operation) so I am glad to have a new place to go for an experiencial dining experience.

Fantastic. The staff are polite and friendly. We had the sirloin, buttered mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts which was outstanding. Our server Jesse made our evening. Jesse has a great attitude, he’s knowledgeable and very good at his job. We will definitely be going back to Papi’s.

The experience at Papi’s was really neat and quite wonderful. The atmosphere is not like many with beautiful lighting and art, and that old school feel. The piano man was also nice touch and so was the personalized menu. Food was excellent and prepared well, but uniquely. Love a different experience and this one deserves 5 stars. We’ll be back.

If you are looking for a high end dining experience that’s still approachable and comfortable - this is it! Incredible service by our waiter Kai, food was exceptional, and we’ve already made plans to come back. The ambiance and attention to detail is unbeatable. Their cocktails were also outstanding and actually worth the price.

What Martha has brought to the city is fantastic and I absolutely love it!! The food and atmosphere were amazing. That atmosphere tax was interesting too! Our server was fun but was pulled in many directions by other customers waving her over. It was odd. Nonetheless, we will bring the rest of the Bernardo/Nota family to dine as it was fabulous and felt like we were transported to a different city!

Waiter was not as close to being as good as last time. Service was sub par compared with last time. Food was excellent though. Atmosphere was beautiful as usual. It’s one of my favourite steak houses period. We come all the way from Toronto to dine at Papis. Keep up the good work it’s a fine establishment. Thank you for having us.
