Park 54 Restaurant and Lounge is a small black-owned business in Hyde Park, MA. "Park 54" is inspired by the life and service of the men who served in the 54th Regiment - a volunteer infantry comprised of free Black American male soldiers. The regiment was established in Readville, MA, now known as "Hyde Park." Despite the backlash the men received for fighting in a "white man's war" each bravely risked their lives for the freedom and betterment of their families, community, and country.

Our mission is to continue the legacy of the historical 54th Regiment. We have created a safe haven where our beloved community of Hyde Park and the neighboring towns, can experience the freedom, happiness, and fullness of self-expression the 54th Regiment fought for. Having only been open for less than a year, we have already accomplished this by offering great food, innovative libations, incredible music, compelling historical artifacts, and an inviting ambiance!

I celebrated my birthday at Park 54 last year and it was a wonderful experience. This year I brought my niece who was visiting from Delaware and wanted to visit local Black owned restaurants. Park 54 did not disappoint. We went for Sunday Brunch and the food was on point. This is a top notch place to take visitors from out of town who are looking for a Black owned dining experience in Boston neighborhoods. Highly recommended.

The food and service was great. They played good music. The place has a good energy to it. The food was delicious, especially the wings. I can’t wait to go back there.

Today, Sunday Brunch was fabulous! DJ Scooby was rocking. We will definitely be back.

This was my family's first visit to Park 54, I have heard good reviews from colleagues and decided to make reservations to celebrate a family event. The place did not disappoint, I found parking on the main street a short walk to the restaurant. Upon entering the establishment , we were warmly greeted and escorted to our table even though we were a few minutes early. Our waitress came over shortly thereafter and was pleasant taking our drink orders and a family photo to commemorate the occasion. The ambience was very nice, they had Christmas decorations , good music, clean tables and chairs and everyone seemed to be enjoying the meal and atmosphere. The food was served with large portions to ensure you see the value of the price and meal. My family could not talk enough about how impressed we were and making plans to definitely return. The bonus was knowing that we were supporting a Black owned establishment. Park 54 Well Done!

The food was outstanding! Lindsey our server was fantastic! Most of our party had never been here before. We will definitely come back. Thanks for making our get together a fantastic!

This is a diamond in the rough. The vibe felt like family connection. Attentive with being able to provide space and read the table.

I had the oxtails and grits, the grits were very grainy as if it was from a box but the oxtail was good. The all you can eat breakfast was all set up when we got there and the food was warm, not hot. Overall the service saved everything. Waitress was amazing and knew about the food and made recommendations. The food was ok, wouldn’t go back there for $35 a plate. 🤷🏾‍♀️
