Parkside is a locally owned and operated Downtown Raleigh Restaurant located at the entrance of the Warehouse District. Parkside is situated on the corner of West Martin and South Dawson streets across from historic Nash Square. It was this urban park, one of the four original parks in downtown that inspired the name Parkside.

Housed at street level and under the longest running neon restaurant sign in North Carolina you will find our doors, which have been the threshold to hospitality for this neighborhood for over one hundred years. Parkside believes in continuing this tradition in every way. From the warm red brick and reclaimed barn wood clad bar to the NC solid poplar tabletops, we want our guests to feel welcome. Whether you are sampling one of our 25+ beers on tap or enjoying our chef inspired locally sourced fare, your experience is our priority.

Place was empty on a Sunday night, no big deal. It was dark (!!) as in only one light bulb over one booth (not the one we were seated at) to light up the entire back area. Where there were otherwise zero customers. Waitress, who seemed completely out of it, or maybe just over it, said to ignore the specials board as they never got around to it. She took forever, had to repeat every order, disappeared for extended periods, food took forever. Then, she shorted me on my change. Which, as if a decent tip wasn’t already in jeopardy, that sealed the deal. Super disappointed. Food wasn’t bad but everything else was pretty terrible.

we found the parkside to be very good ,we made reservations to be sure that we could be accommodated,all around the experiance was good , we would return.

I’ve been here before and had great food. I brought my two best friends who were in town to eat here and we loved it. A great brunch menu, friendly staff, everything was clean, and great portioned drinks.

Casual restaurant, attentive staff and very good food. Good for date night, family night and watching all types of sports.

the food was all very good, and they ran out of dessert and offered for us to come back for it the next day. and our server was so nice, she helped us decide what to pick since we’ve never been there and are a little indecisive. the vibe is also super nice and cool. the bar side is cool for solo / big group and the booths and high tops are cute for a date. we got 1 restaurant week 3 course meal, poutine, and short rib stroganoff. also the butternut squash they served with our salmon was SO good and soft! the poutine was also super flavorful and the fried cheese curds added an extra flavor from its seasoned coating. and the jalapeño in the gravy added an extra kick. not authentic but delicious. everything we had was very yummy.
