Welcome to Parkside Restaurant in Wendell! We are so glad you can join us at our new location in beautiful Treelight Square, Wendell Falls. We have worked hard on this new iteration of Parkside and have tried to encapsulate everything that is well loved from our Downtown Raleigh restaurant to bring here to you. Locally owned and operated, Parkside is the cornerstone of comfort and fresh food. You will find a relaxing place to enjoy an evening in one of our cozy booths or a gathering place for your friends and family to celebrate special occasions in our spacious dining room or semi private dining. At the center of our gorgeous restaurant, you will find our marble bar boasting a large selection of draft beers, wines, and top shelf whiskeys.

We strive to provide top notch service day and night, whether you're in for a quick lunch or night out. You can also find us on Doordash and Toast TakeOut via our website.

Best part about the whole experience was the food and the staff. Emmy was our waitress. She was down to earth and personable. I’m not huge on tipping just because it’s customary. I feel like you should earn your tips and she did just that. So happy she was our server. She offered items to order when we return as well. Will be returning just because of her and the delicious food. 10/10!!!!!!!

When we arrived, we’re told that the kitchen was backed up about 30 minutes, but that we could order small plates and drinks while we wait. So, I ordered the tomato bisque soup which came out cold and literally tasted like it was straight from a can. When I told our waitress the soup was cold, she just said ok, I can get that taken off your bill but no apologies about the soup being cold. Then they finally let us order our entrees, once the kitchen got caught up and when they came out, my husband’s mashed potatoes were cold, again no apology, only do you want something else? She did take $2 off his entree though. It just wasn’t what I was expecting so we won’t eat here again.

Loved this spot! Incredible, attentive service. I had problem with my food but it was the end of the world. Still giving this place all the thumbs up!

Service was friendly and good. The prime rib was disappointing, very dry and not flavorful.

Everything was fantastic, never a bad experience here. First time ever having the brunch menu and mannnnnnnn that pork chop and peach waffle, sweet lil baby Jesus

This was a much needed addition to a new community, however this evening our experience fell short. The restaurant was very short staffed. The bartender seemed to have to take care of several if not all tables. He was very kind and considerate just a bit overwhelmed. Forgot drink orders, slow to return to the table. We were here a few days after Christmas which might explain the staff shortage. The food was pretty good , they were sold out of several beers on tap( again that could be a result of the holiday season.) The evening ambiance was severely lacking . The lighting made the restaurant feel as though we were dining in a hospital cafeteria. Maybe this was an “ off “ night, with staff shortage due to the Christmas holiday. Hope to give it another try but probably just for lunch.

Burgers were good, fries exceptional. They were crusty and crispy and had great flavor. Caesar salad was average, salmon on top was good and cooked as directed. Tomato soup was enjoyed and had a thick consistency. We really liked the appetizers- the deviled eggs were tasty and the fried saltines with pimento cheese was a big hit. Overall the food here is average. I wish they would add a few gourmet items, garnishes and unique flavors! We need a really good restaurant in Wendell.

The food was absolutely horrible and over priced. The service was great and that was it. I had a BLT sandwich that was falling apart when it arrived and greasy. My husband had the breakfast burrito and it tasted like a microwave meal. My kid had the Mac n cheese and it was like soup. My side was tomato bisque soup and it was lumpy and thick.
