   The decor and vibe are really good, thought the place is very noisy and the music is very loud. The service was excellent in the beginning, but then we lost our server and it took an hour for us to get our main course. The other servers who filled in were a bit stresses and frazzled and kind of forgot about us. The manager was a bit offputting. The set menu was a bit hit or miss, the escargot were very rubbery and the sea bass was a bit bland. The duck confit and the salmon appetiser were quite nice, but such tiny portions. The menu was indubitably overpriced for the amount and quality of food we got.

   Hi Pablo. I'm really sorry to hear this. With Valentine's Day, we were having an extremely busy night and sincerely apologise that your service was less than perfect. We're also sorry if the music was too loud, however I understand you were offered a table in our quieter lounge during our Friday night Patron Lates, when the bistro can get pretty buzzy. In regards to the menu, I am really sorry that our Valentine's set menu was not up to your expectations, and I can assure you that this has been relayed and be taken into future consideration.

   Very limited menu, with items unavailable. Boring plates of peppers, dry duck, baked Camembert with nothing accompaniment as a main was hard to eat so requested bread. Hero was a side dish of peas and leeks. Won’t be going back.

   Hi Gina. With produce delivered fresh daily, our menu is short and seasonal. I am surprised by your feedback, as your friend described our signature duck confit as divine. Our baked camembert, stuffed with dauphinoise potatoes and drizzled with truffle honey, should be served with bread which we forgot to bring you, so thank you for asking for it. We're sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience here at Patron and sincerely hope we can make it up to you, if you did decide to come back.

   Superb experience last night. We were 7 and had cocktails wine and 3 courses. The chicken livers were delicious, steak tartar could have been more seasoned. Duck confit fabulous and the peas & leeks were divine. Excellent dauphinois though not huge portions. Overall fabulous and lovely service. Heartily recommended

   Although the menu is quite limited and doesn't change much Patron has been a firm favourite of ours for a number of years. The extension has helped give the place extra charm. Service was excellent as was the food.

   Hi Jane, thank you so much for your feedback. It's true that we keep our menu short in order to cook with only the freshest produce. We make subtle adjustments to the list ca twice a week in rotation with the seasons, but definitely we have a strong set of seasonal signatures. Thank you for being such a loyal guest!    Wonderful French onion soup followed by a monkfish main dish with crusty bread to enjoy the sauce. Had a glass of red wine at happy hour price before 6 that was good. A neighborhood gem with great food. The food was nicely cooked with flair, and good value, worth traveling to Kentish Town for a nice bistro/ intimate restaurant meal.

   From the wonderfully winter-lit frontage, to the beautifully curated interior, in its very tastefully varied forms, you ask, can the food and service possibly hope to match this? Well, it most certainly does. Please don’t make the rash mistake I did, and worry the menu isn’t extensive enough. Also do not leave without at least looking at the huge bowl of chocolate mouse, and try to resist it when you do. Oh, and the duck and the onion soup, are off the clock. As are the dauphinois (starter AND side).
