   My food was very good. I had salmon followed by the most delicious and tender veal, and then a shared apple tart. My friends also enjoyed their food very much. It's a lovely place to go to, and it's so enjoyable being able to hear each other.

   We returned to our favourite restaurant in the area and was not disappointed with the quality of the food and wine selection but as always it is the wonderful service from Jade and her lovely team of helpers. Josh continues to miracles in the kitchen and we urge people to support this jewel of a restaurant

   Excellent as always. Enjoyed new items on set menu including toulouse sausage with lentils (masterpiece of it's own!) and gravadlax. Lovely Halloween decorations! Thank you and see you next time

   We came to Pear & Olive for our anniversary dinner and weren’t disappointed! The food was excellent and great value. The ambience was lovely, perfect spot for a romantic dinner or special occasion and the services was welcoming and warm. Strongly recommend!

   We went to celebrate a birthday and it turned out to be a truly special occasion. Usually having a menu that fits on one page bodes very well as this suggests a focus on fresh ingredients and doing fewer things very well and indeed this was the case on this occasion. The food was truly exceptional (we had two courses, main and deserts) and both were absolutely amazing in terms of the quality of ingredients, taste and the way they were prepared (no half cooked veggies as one is often presented with in the UK). The desert was a little journey of discovery, combining different yet matching tastes, textures and presentation. Service was prompt and attentive yet never obtrusive. This was a rare occasion where the whole experience was absolutely fabulous!

   We had a wonderful experience at the Pear and Olive. Food was delicious, beautifully presented with every ingredient on the plate there for a reason, brilliantly balanced dishes. Ambience was relaxed yet sophisticated. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. It was lovely to meet the chef. It was a truly special evening out.

   We were delighted to return to the Pear and Olive and yet again the welcome was warm and charming . The food was very innovative and menu has a good selection but the quality is superb with carefully prepared food and wonderful tastes. The service is great with a friendly feel but wonderfully relaxed and just makes the evening an outstanding time to enjoy the food and wine. It is a true neighbourhood gem and we will be back before too long. Well done everybody .

   Thoroughly enjoyed an amazing roasted pumpkin starter with Cambridge blue cheese followed by a delicious braised ox cheek. As a regular I love the new fabrics, the atmosphere is now even more warm & relaxed. Keep it up!

    This is just the most beautiful little restaurant with such a lovely family running it. Fine dining without the crazy price tag, lovely selection of wine and you just feel so well looked after. This couple clearly know their stuff and can’t recommend this restaurant enough! It’s a seasonal menu too which makes it extra special. Definitely give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!!
