Peck & Plume — a nod to the restaurant’s view of Downtown Cary Park and its avian inhabitants — is a polished yet casual restaurant offering a menu of modern American classics taking inspiration from our southern surroundings.     Food was delicious, the service was good but unfortunately they run out of desserts and even cappuccino and coffee.

    Poor service, we sat for 15 minutes before we were approached. We had brunch reservations at 10:30 for a heated outdoor table. We were seated next to the outdoor screen which made it a bit cool at our table. We requested a table in a warmer part of the room but were told it was in a different section. There was only 1 other table being used in the outdoor heated seating area.

    The moment we walked in the front door Paul gave us a warm hello and the hostesses at the reservation desk, Maria, Campbell and Niya greeted us, we felt welcomed to experience a wonderful Valentine Day celebration. It was a very busy evening but the managers, Rachel, Jerico, Bob and Tristan, saw to it that the people at every table received special treatment. Seneca, the Mixologist Extraordinaire, started our evening with one of his creative cocktails and our server, Isabella, made sure we were dining in style, with great recommendations for this special occasion with a special menu. She made our celebration one to remember. And speaking of the special menu, Chef Tyler outdid himself with creativity. Outstanding selections, presentations and preparation. All in all, this is the best restaurant in Cary and deserves a reward as such.

    I've been going here in Valentine's day for several years. I always look forward to this delicious restaurant. This year my husband's meal was amazing and mine was not. The steak I was served was dry and overcooked. Really confused on what happened this time.

    Food was great, but the service was sub-par. The outdoor patio had heating elements under the ceiling that direct the heat straight down on people - unless you like it hot while you eat, I’d avoid the patio during the winter time. We asked to be re-seated indoors and were told there were not any openings until “later”. We watched 3 tables inside from where we sat stay empty the entire time we were there. Food is really good, but we were rather disappointed with the lack of accommodating us and our server would disappear for 10-15 mins at a time..

    It is a lovely space. We sat on the heated patio because it was nice but a bit loud inside. The wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. She kept up with our coffee! The food was delicious and well-priced. Clean restrooms. I recommend this restaurant. It is inside the Mayton Hotel, fyi. Street parking.

    The food and drinks were delicious. The menu offers a nice variety without being overwhelming. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and located inside the lovely Mayton Inn. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed walking around the newly revitalized downtown Cary. It was bustling on a Friday night.

    Very pleasant evening, we ordered the short rib with risotto and food was amazing. Bartender/ server was very attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back and recommend.

    The Restaurant Week menu was amazing. Great food selections. Even though it was a very busy Saturday evening in the dining room, our server, Isabella, was great an took good care of our table of 4.
