Pedro’s started out on a shoestring budget in the town of Los Gatos on November 29, 1972. A twelve-table restaurant which developed an immediate following, allowing two full expansions. Two years of planning were devoted to the second unit Santa Clara, which opened its doors on May 13, 1980.

Pedro’s Restaurant has been the result of hard work and devotion. We offer a varied and unique selection of authentic Mexican creations. Santa Clara Pedro’s seats 325 people on the main floor.

We had excellent service provided by the manager, seating us, our server and all of the other staff. We were the only ones in our area so it was festive and quiet and peaceful. Our food was delicious. Our server was delightful and very efficient and greatly enjoyed our dinner.

I have been coming to Pedro’s since early 2000’s. Food always great! Prices have been climbing steeply. Charging $6 for chips/salsa which would be complimentary in other Mexican food restaurants.

My husband enjoyed carnitas tacos while I ate the nachos and ordered toreados on the side! Also had 2 margaritas!

I like the atmosphere and the classic Mexico building with a fountain in front is a plus! Glad it has plenty vegetarian option and I really enjoy it
