Pork chop was thick and tender and perfectly cooked. Salmon was excellent. Started with a great wedge salad. Manhattan was awesome. Our favorite place to eat when we visit Boerne every year! Service is a cut above!

Ordered house salad with chicken which was super dry. We requested adding two more to our reservation. We were denied due to full capacity which was not the case when we arrived.

This is a delightful restaurant in every way. Our food was delicious (ribeyes, a baked potato, sautéed mushrooms, and heavenly biscuits). Servers were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend Peggy’s on the Green!

Food was good although service was poor. Felt like we were bringing rushed to finish each course. Then it took longer than usual to finally get our steak. Nothing was said to us as we were leaving.

We enjoyed a delicious craft cocktail at the bar before dinner. Dinner was excellent! We enjoyed/shared crab cakes, shrimp andouille, brussel sprouts, and mushroom side dishes; excellent flavors and our combination of dishes enhanced our dining experience! The service was excellent by all who took care of our beverage and dining needs... thank-you! We will certainly return and highly recommend for others to experience. We stayed at the Kendall Inn that was absolutely lovely located right next door.

In hindsight, we would have booked a reservation somewhere else. I get that Peggy's is an "institution" with a long history, but I did not expect that it would be so exaggerated. The food was okay, but certainly not phenomenal, or worth the price and I am accustomed to paying a good price for an equally good experience. Speaking of, our waiter was rather rude and abrupt, rushing our decisions and mostly preoccupied with other things going on. I saw this from most of the waitstaff and I think Peggy's has sacrificed good experience thinking that looking busy is better for business. I would not recommend this restaurant in Boerne.
