   A wonderful dining experience. Service was superb, food was sensational. Had been to their other restaurant, Artisinal, in Banner Elk and this did not disappoint. Lovely time had by my daughter and I.

   Enjoyed a nice evening out by sharing several small plates. The arugula and bib salad was excellent. The fried oysters lacked seasoning and the accompanying sauce did not pair well. The mussels were spicy. I don’t care for that level of spice but my date loved them. The bison bolognese was excellent!

   We had a group of 7. The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate well for one member who has shellfish and gluten allergies. Our server Liz was very personable and an excellent server. She made great suggestions, and kept on top of our needs. The food was very good and prepared well. Some of our group just shared small plates while others got an app and entree plate. The staff timed it where we were all able to enjoy our food together. The yeast rolls were to die for! Will definitely be back.

   It's expensive in my opinion, but worth every penny! Peppervine is our go-to for celebrations.

   The food was pretty bland. The yeast rolls were good, but underbaked. The tuna tartar was pretty good, but needed a little spice to counteract the mushrooms. The gnocchi was bland and needed salt and pepper. The bison bolognese was too sweet and tasted like sloppy joe.

   Overall, the food and service were fantastic, my only criticism is that the portion size is not very big. I meant to order a shareable plate, but forgot and only ordered bread and a large plate. The flavor was very memorable and I would go back.

   Our reservation was for 7.30. By the time we were calling our ride at 9.20, the staff were clearing up and we felt we should no longer be there. As we headed to the front to wait for our ride, all the bar stools were out from the bar, ready to clean and the shutter was down on the bar. We felt we’d outstayed our welcome. Thank goodness we didn’t make a reservation for 8.00!

    We went to Peppervine for our 20th wedding anniversary with our girls. Ambience was good but the Food and service was mediocre. They did have much choice on the food , No chicken dish was available, the salad dressing was so bad that no one could eat except me , Nan for the soup was burned, Entree mushroom dish had a sauce that had such a strong flavor that my daughter could hardly finish. some dishes were ok but nothing over the top. cocktails were good but again nothing special. Service was mediocre- no one stopped by to check on us about how the food was and if they can make anything better, They didn’t clean the table quickly enough, will we were taking a selfie the waitress just popped up and left the food on the table. Overall not worth the hype and the money, there are so many places that is opening in charlotte and we always like to try new ones, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
