We've been twice before and decided to come back a third time. We went on Sunday for the Sunday Lunch menu and unfortunately we just didn't love it. The staff, service and ambience were all great but the food just fell short of what we were expecting. The options on the menu were very limited (we appreciate it's a smaller menu on a Sunday) with the main option being lamb and then a slice of mushroom tart for veggie option, and we expected a slightly better variety of dishes and ingredients. The lamb was delicious but the sides were very lack lustre with one of two being a grainy polenta dish. We expected a little more.

It was our second time visiting and love it! The menu has a great verity who different dietary needs. The staff were super friendly, helpful and patience as we chatted and forgot to order for a little bit. Can not recommend more

We went on a Sunday and had the Sunday menu and the food was absolutely outstanding. We loved the meal and would definitely eat here again. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are friendly. I would have preferred a couple more wallet friendly options on the wine menu but no complaints otherwise.

Lovely service in our local restaurant. It’s not cheap but the sharing dishes are sublime. The service was great - very friendly and we went for Bernard the Hurnard and Jake the Hake plus the best sorbet I have ever eaten . Not sure about the quite expensive wine coming in a carafe though … what’s that about ?
