   My visit to Petal Restaurant was fantastic. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the tuna salad, and it was amazing. The tuna was fresh and lightly seared. My friend had the surf and turf, and it was just as good. The steak was juicy and cooked perfectly, and the lobster tail was buttery and delicious. The sides—garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus—were the perfect match.

   I had such a wonderful time. My waitress was so sweet and punctual, although it was a bit busy all of my food came out on time and it was 10/10!

   The worst restaurant I have been to in my entire life. Maybe they were having an off night…sat for 45 mins before even getting our drinks…1hr until appetizers. Our meals were cold when they finally came out. Salmon was inedible and the mushroom “risotto” was cold mush swimming in an oily sauce. There were other tables around us that were also not being attended to. Do not waste your time or money coming here.

   This was a terrible dining experience, made worse by the fact that it was Valentine's Day. The worst dining experience I have had in 10+ years of dining through open table. Stay away!

   Please save yourself time, energy, and stress by not booking with Petal. I booked a dinner here for my girlfriend and i recently and was easily, by far, the worst dinner experience ive had in Boston (ive been 100's of places). The service was slow and seemingly "checked out" (was an early dinner, so not sure what the deal was), the food came freezing, and they brought my food 35 minutes before my girlfriends food. They got both food orders wrong, and didn't seem to care. The waitress also charged us incorrectly--i was surprised she remembered to bring the check in the first place. We were here for 2.5 dreadful hours, and could only talk about what we would rather have been doing--that list was endless. In addition to the food being about as cold as alaskan leftovers, it was dangerously under seasoned, and over cooked. There was one bright side to this horror story: the drinks. Not that they were good by any means, but they were strong, which helped cope with the environment we were trapped in while the staff and kitchen were in fairytale land (probably). I usually dont leave reviews, i know how hard restaurants (typically) try to please their guests. But i felt overly compelled to let the public know they are wasting their time and money here. Elsewhere may be more expensive, but i promise its worth it if you dont have to go through what we did at Petal. -5/5 stars.

   Terrific food and service! We loved the linguini as it was new and fresh. The food was well done! We went early so had lots of attention too.

   What a hidden gem! My evening was nothing short of magical. I started with their mozzarella, turkey bacon, and mushroom flatbread, which honestly had me wondering how a flatbread could taste this luxurious – the house-made mozzarella was perfectly melted over crispy turkey bacon, and the blend of roasted mushrooms added such rich, earthy flavors. For my main course, I was torn between the rack of lamb and the lobster ravioli, so my partner and I decided to share both (best decision ever!). The lamb was cooked to perfection, medium-rare with a beautifully seasoned crust, while the lobster ravioli in saffron cream sauce was pure indulgence – you could taste the freshness of the seafood in every bite, and that saffron cream sauce was liquid gold. What really stood out besides the incredible food was how warm yet unobtrusive the service was; our server seemed to appear exactly when we needed something, then fade away to let us enjoy our evening. Absolutely worth every penny. ★★★★★

    I enjoyed my dining experience here, the ambiance is perfect for an intimate romantic date night. The food was amazing, I had the chimichurri steak with mashed potatoes, and my date had a burger. Of course I had to try the burger as well and it was delicious! The service was very attentive and provided different selections of wine that can compliment our meal. There was also a seating area outside of the hotel, where we were able to lounge after our dinner.
