I was really looking forward to trying g this place but was underwhelmed. I chose the three course set menu for £28 with a free cocktail. There was no choice of cocktail - just one cocktail and one mocktail which was a little disappointing. The wine list is expensive so I stuck with water. I had to ask twice before this was brought and three times before I got a top up later. This was indicative of my experience overall. It is an expensive restaurant and I felt overlooked because I was having the cheaper set menu. I had the calamari to start. It was good and a good portion. I then had the butter miso chicken. Given this was the main dish it was tiny and served with zero accompaniments. The dessert - passion fruit brûlée was delicious but again very small. I left hungry and I am a woman with an average appetite. Overall I felt it was poor value. Although the food was good, I left hungry which I have never previously experienced after a three course meal in a restaurant.

Seated for a drink then forgotten about. Music was so loud you couldn’t hear each other or the waiter. Food was slow coming out and quality was as good as I would have expected given the price. Quite a disappointment.

We had an amazing experience with the six course set menu. The servers were fantastic and the food was amazing. Although the music was louder than we expected it allowed us to speak in relative privacy in a busy restaurant.

A great meal, in a lovely ambiance and with excellent service. Our only caveat was the music which was definitely not to our taste.

Staff were lovely and attentive, the DJ was playing really good up to date music choices and the atmosphere was great! However the food was really disappointing, the black cod was soggy and cold. We should have been served 2 desserts from the set menu we had paid £115 per person for but was only served one which wasn’t great (we weren’t offered the other we had paid for). Service charge was £30 which I wouldn’t usually mind paying but the food was not worthy of the extra charge. We won’t be going to this restaurant again for food unfortunately.
