Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. This larger location channels a lavish French Brasserie, with its marble bar, banquette lined dining room, and a Chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. The second dining room can be reserved for larger parties and private events.

Since opening, Petit Trois has garnered praise from casual foodies and revered food critics. In 2015, Petit Trois was nominated for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation and in 2019 earned the Bib Gourmand designation upon the Michelin Guide’s return to Los Angeles. Additionally, Petit Trois was featured on the late Jonathan Gold’s 101 Best Restaurants in Los Angeles list from 2015-2017 and has remained on the list since 2019 when Bill Addison & Patricia Escárcega took over.

From the OpenTable editors: Whereas the original Petit Trois is just as its name implies—small—Ludo Lefebvre’s second, much larger iteration of the restaurant in Sherman Oaks is all high ceilings, gold accents, and comfy mint green banquettes. You can still order all of the hits, like steak frites and the famous Le Big Mec burger, but a word of advice: Book a seat at the compact chef’s counter to get a view of all the action in the kitchen.

I do believe it’s time to change up the menu. There have been very few changes or additions made to the menu since the beginning. It’s pretty much the same menu for lunch and dinners.

Petit Toris made L.A. Times 101 best restaurants this year. What more can I say?! I ate at the Le Valley and L’Original for the first time and both were a wonderful experience for myself and my fiancé. Having dinner at L’Original and brunch at Le Valley. The staff, food, and experience was fantastic. I see a few more visits for us in 2025.

We had a delicious lunch. All my friends celebrated our holidays there. The food was delicious, our server was friendly and professional. We really enjoyed our holiday lunch. We will be back ❣️

Great experience. Service was attentive but not overwhelming. Food was excellent albeit a bit salty to my taste. Relaxing vibe. It's on LAT's 101 Best Restaurants for all the right reasons. I will definitely come back.

Very pleasant and low-key, but sophisticated French restaurant. Drinks are amazing. Food is Rich, so you do not need a lot. Joey, our waiter, was great. He understood the dishes and made excellent suggestions.
