We had a lovely dinner last night at the Petroleum Club. The view out on the golf course at dusk was beautiful. The tables were set beautifully with black tablecloths, beautiful gold chargers, and sparkling crystal. The wait staff was attentive, but not intrusive. They did a great job anticipating our needs. The menu is diverse, with a good selection of options for casual and fine dining. There are many options for people following a plant based diet. My dining companions tried the clam chowder. They thoroughly enjoyed it, reporting that it was creamy, full of clams, and nicely seasoned. They both followed the soup with the salmon salad. The salad itself was a nice mix of different lettuces, fruit, and veggies, topped with a very nice size portion of salmon. They both enjoyed it very much. I had the plant based Salisbury steak with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes and veggies. I believe the Salisbury steak was a house made veggie patty. It was flavorful and the texture and crust were very nice. I will look forward to eating that again someday! My companions then shared a raspberry cheesecake with a chocolate crust. They reported that it was delicious. Upcoming events in October include a wine pairing and Sunday brunches. All in all this is a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal. I look forward to doing so in the near future!

We were a group of six, all classmates from EBHS, graduating class of 63. Some had not dined there previously & everyone was very pleased with the food, the service and the atmosphere.

I am never disappointed when I dine at the Petroleum Club. Always superb. It is our go to restaurant.

There were 6 of us and we all loved our meals! Salmon, mahi tacos and shrimp dishes were all delicious. The wait staff was wonderful too.

We had a lovely dinner experience. The view is great of the golf range. The bruschetta was not very good but our main course of blackened fish and teriyaki salmon were very good. The cheesecake was also very good. We drank the house wine which was very good.

We all ate salads and they were underwhelming. I had eaten there 2x before and thought the food was excellent then but yesterday not so much. The bread tasted like it was frozen and heated up and the lettuce didn’t seem that fresh and other ingredients were scarce and more like a side salad. The protein was fine but nothing exciting. The best part of the meal were the two desserts, butter cake and flourless chocolate. They were excellent! I was wondering if the chef had changed b/c entree salads were just okay. Not sure if I would return.

We had reservations at 5:15, which was on the early side because we had to be somewhere by 6:30, so the restaurant was pretty empty and quiet, which wasn't a bad thing. The service was good and the food was good.
