    Arrived at 6:50 for a 7 pm reservation. Was told they were over a hour behind in getting people seated. Talked with friends who had been seated at 5:30 and they still had not received their food at 7:15. Horrible experience and horrible way to spend Christmas Eve.

    Avoid! Worst dining experience ever… let that sink in. I had a 6:15 pm reservation for Christmas Eve. I was told at the door that they were running an hour and a half behind. We decided to wait as we had no plan B for Christmas Eve and we were looking forward to doing something different for Christmas. We were able to find a place at the bar to stand and ordered a few drinks. The place was packed, which is to be expected on Christmas Eve. They only had two bartenders for the entire place. One bartender could make anything. The other bartender was clearly the wine and beer bartender. No backbar help. The bartenders were swamped. Patron tempers were high to say the least. Bartenders had to make all the drinks, replace garnishes and wash glasses. We ordered wine and had to wait 10 minutes for a clean glass. We were finally were seated at 7:45, an hour and a half past our reservation. The waitress then informed us that entrees were running an hour and a half behind. We were encouraged to order appetizers or salads if we wanted something faster. So after waiting an hour and a half after our reservation it was going to take another hour and a half to get the food we came for. We were told four times by four different employees “blame corporate”. That was clearly the theme of the night and of the dining experience. What made the night so frustrating is that it could have been avoided. At no time did the restaurant stop making and selling to go food. The to go food swamped the kitchen and created the problem for the people that actually made a reservation and drove to the location. When I asked why they were still selling to go food I was told to blame corporate. When I asked why they allowed so many automated reservations for Christmas Eve I was told blame corporate. When I asked why they were short staffed behind the bar I was told blame corporate. I won’t be back ever… blame corporate. When PF Chang’s files for chapter 11… blame corporate.

    Well, one thing is clear. On the unique night of Christmas Eve, PF Chang's corporate policies (as told to me by the manager that evening) need to be changed. They are required to take full reservations without table time limits, and do an extraordinary amount take-out orders, and it simply is not possible to succeed at that. The reality is that many of the four-top tables are pushed together for large parties, as well as the large round tables, and large parties stay much longer than usual, especially on Christmas Eve. The second reality is that huge numbers of take-out orders crush the kitchen, so food service for everyone is slowed down dramatically. Several Chinese restaurants in this area pick one or the other on Christmas Eve -- either dine in or take out, but not both. Our personal experience was that our 5:30 reservation for three people was seated at 6:35. Drinks and appetizers came at a reasonable pace (under the circumstances), but we finally left and abandoned our dinner orders -- it was not clear when (if ever) they were going to come.

    We made 6:45 reservations on Open Table and received confirmation from Open Table. When we checked in with host, he said they didn’t have record of reservation. I showed him confirmation of reservation and he said that since they didn’t have it in their system, they’d get us in when they could. They sat us over 15 minutes past reservation. We then sat for 10 minutes at our table before a bartender saw us sitting at a table and came to see if we needed anything. Thankfully, she took our order rather than having us wait more for a server. But then….while appetizers arrived relatively quickly, we waited almost an hour to get our meal. It was delicious, but we won’t be back to this location again. In addition, the restaurant was dirty. Very disappointed.

    PF Changs just isn’t what it used to be. The lettuce wraps were terrible. First the lettuce wasn’t the usual iceberg lettuce. Second it was so salty and not able to eat. I thought it might have been the sauce but it was the filling. The filling used to have a nice crunch from the water chestnuts but they were soggy. Just terrible. The hot and sour soup was peppery broth. I was never given the option to have it corrected because our server never checked to see if everything was ok.

    I’d recommend this place for lunch. They do a good job getting people their food quickly. Dinner is usually a bigger challenge.

    Service was slow. I ordered pepper steak and the steak was tough. Very chewy and overdone. I order this dish a lot and it’s always great. The hot and sour soup was cold. My husbands honey crispy shrimp was soggy. We come to this restaurant a lot, and it is usually so good

    Definitely not a good experience. Food took forever. Some food came out before others so we didn’t eat all together. Food was cooked poorly. Service was not good, not attentive. I don’t know if it’s the brand or location but something should be done about this place. We will not return to pay for an overpriced bad meal with terrible service.

    We selected this location over the one in St. Charles, where we reside due to anticipated superior service and cuisine. The dining experience met our expectations. The service team delivered our meal expeditiously. From app to entrees, the food was hot and delicious. The dining room layout enabled occasional adjacent table noise. I will travel for this experience again.
