Went to PF Chang’s on a Friday night. It was crowded but not insanely packed. Our server made a few mistakes that really ruined the dinner and don’t think we will return. Tried the pad Thai with chicken. It had friend chicken which I wasn’t expecting but the pad Thai noodles had good flavor. We also had the sesame chicken and the sweet and sour chicken. We let them know that it’s was bday and while the hostess wished my husband a happy birthday our server did not. Not a big deal but it left a bad taste

Family member ordered pad Thai. Noodles were hard as a rock (not cooked) so we sent it back after having a half of a single bite. 20 min later we got replacement. when bill came, they charged us twice for pad Thai but credited back one. When the manager came by she didn’t seem to understand the value of making up for the “house” mistake as it took a 5 minute conversation to explain that we didn’t order 2, we ordered one editable pad Thai and the house needs to make up for a horrible experience of the other family members waiting while their food became cold. Never again will we eat here. We have watched this location go down hill since its start. Feels like they don’t value routine customers.

Lettuce wraps were excellent as always. Food other than the sushi was also good. The California roll was clearly not freshly made. The rice was as hard as sushi from the grocery store. I should have sent it back.

Food and service was great as always. The food came ordered came out quickly and with enough time to finish soap before the main fish came out. The waitress was always around to check if we needed refills.

The evening was quite enjoyable once we got past the hostess who sat us. She seemed very unhappy and gave us the impression she’d rather be anywhere else.

Christmas Eve we had a reservation… apparently so did half the neighborhood since you could barely walk in the door at 6:30 pm! There were dozens of angry would-be diners milling about, many tables unbussed, and what appeared to be a very overwhelmed front desk staff. We were told we’d be seated well beyond our set time. Things were looking grim so we left. All first-world problems, yes, but we know PF Chang’s can do better!

It was insanely busy. Front lobby as always was wayyyy overcrowded. No place to walk, no place to stand. Every time we go to The Northbrook location, it’s always chaotic with guests and employees tripping all over each other. Was way understaffed. Had to wait Long time to get seated even though we had a 6:00pm reservation. Took long time to get water, silverware, our entrees. And actually it was not because of our server. Our server was excellent for the conditions she was under. She worked her a** off, but she can only do so much. She was assigned too many tables, for all the customers there.
