LOUD, VIBRANT, DELICIOUS...Situated on Wheeler Street in the centre of Cambridge, Pho is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant that specialise in pho noodle soup, the national dish of Vietnam. Aside from pho, you can also expect to find amazing starters, healthy salads, hearty rice bowls and decadent curries. They have a range of freshly made juices and also Vietnamese beers and a large wine and cocktail list. Pho’s menu is 40% vegan and nearly entirely gluten-free too. They also have an accessible kids’ menu where children can get a meal and a drink for £6.95.

Super tasty Pho - we went for the pho house, full of flavour and generous portions. Tried the mint, apple and ginger juice which was really refreshing. It was very busy, but we got served quickly

They do not serve real Vietnamese cuisine, but rather a westernised version with too much salt and sugar added. Our waitress didn’t even know how to pronounce pho (it rhymes with “fur”). The rice paper for the rolls was served unprepared and still in its plastic packaging. It is supposed to be soaked in warm water before eating.

Only thing that prevented 5 stars was the restaurant felt a bit grimy. Everything else was great. A deep clean would improve the place immensely.

Family meal after seeing the Panto and it was perfect! We all lived what we ate. The only thing that made it tricky for us is we had to go up a lot stairs with my very old, disabled mum. But we managed. A lovely evening out!

The food and atmosphere were great. We were sat upstairs but the service team up there seemed to be incredibly slow - we had to ask to order drinks and chase when our main courses would be coming. We chose Pho as a quick meal before we had concert tickets at the Corn Exchange, but after an hour and a half we were still eating our main courses and had to ask for the bill while we were still eating. It wax such a shame especially as friends sitting downstairs said the service there was much quicker. We’ll definitely be back but probably not before a gig again.

The food was excellent. my wife had the pho (as usual!) and I had a spicy curry, we both really enjoyed our meals. The staff were all very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Additionally my wife is gluten intolerant, and Pho is exceptional in providing a 95% gluten free menu. Also the staff were assiduous in enquiring about food allergies prior to ordering.

We eat out in Pho Cambridge often, around once a week..so you can say were regulars...my family loves the food, and we always order Pho beef brisket or the beef combo noodle soup and my youngest 9 year old son loves the battered chicken nuggets...but that night we think that the soup taste bland and our server even ask how are we...she then replied just put some condiments pointing to the chili oil...nevertheless we will still be going back...

The waitress was very nice and friendly, which is always appreciated when you dine out with kids. Food.

My mum and I frequently visit Pho Cambridge and we always really enjoy it, its lovely food and we the staff are always so friendly. Last night there were quite a few mistakes with our order, I ordered the non alcoholic Mojito and was served and alcoholic one, in fairness the waitress did realise and swopped it straight away but if I had had an allergy or previous problems with alcohol this could have ended negatively. When the mains came mine was incorrect, I had ordered jsut chicken as the meat but was served chicken and prawn, I sent it back and the waitress was very apologetic and my correct order came out very quickly, but just a little disappointed on the mistakes!
