Soup of the day was vegetables with basil. And basil had stems on it. I mean seriously what’s chef is thinking about serving a soup with basil with long hard stems. It’s a shame.

The food was average, my husband's chicken was tough, my meal was inedibly salty with heavy capers. I love salty foods but that dish should never have left the kitchen like that, so I had to send it back. They were nice about it and my next meal, a pasta dish was much better, though nothing really special. Overall, not a very good dining experience as our past visits.

Food is always good, and so is the ambiance but the service was quite slow today with a restaurant that was maybe 1/3 to half occupied. I personally was happy to be relaxed while visiting with my sons and their girlfriends but one of my sons was a bit nasty because he had some work to get to. So the slow service slowed the day way down for him to get his goals achieved for the day. All is well. We will be back.
