The heritage of Italian culinary art at Piazza Italiana starts with the Sicilian-born chef Remo Mazzucato and his experience of over 50 years across the world. Nestled in the former telling room of British Linen Bank with the interior restored to its original design from 1902.

Piazza Italiana brings the ambience of classic Italian cuisine: palate-enlightening and focused on quality and seasonal ingredients. Polished service, extensive bar and signature cocktails culminate in an Italian dining experience unlike any other.

It would be impossible to say this place was anything more than just about acceptable. The food was exceptionally average. Nothing wrong with it but nothing memorable and certainly no better than a high street chain restaurant though significantly more expensive. Portions were absolutely tiny. Starter size for mains especially the risotto. The glasses of wine were more like thimbles of wine too. We have never seen anything like it. I think the waiter summed it up when he asked “was your food okay” when doing his routine check in. It was … okay. Passable I guess but certainly not worth the price.

Second time back here. Magnificent dining room, good space between tables not too busy, just right. Our server was attentive and very affable, easy going. Food as last time was amazing. We came for a weekend trip from Toronto ON Canada, and this place is now on our "have to do" list every time we come over.

It felt like they were rushing to serve all three courses as quickly as possible—less than 10 minutes between each dish. It almost seemed like they wanted to turn tables fast, which is unacceptable, especially when you’re paying significantly more than those ordering from the set menu. For a restaurant of this caliber, I expected a more relaxed and attentive dining experience. Frankly, I left disappointed.

Good venue for a business meeting, with the right balance of atmosphere and not to noisy that you can't talk or to quiet to be overheard. High quality food & drink and variety of options for most/all tastes!

This is a useful place to take business guests from out of town. Ambience is excellent for entertaining. Desserts are very good. Mains a bit disappointing for the price point. .
