   Picaro is a gem. The quality of the food is excellent while the service was fantastic. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Out of the way but well worth the trip.

   We've been several times in the past and this week we went twice as we had purchased two 100 dollar coupons for $70 each (and sat in timeshare meetings for hours). The first meal was one appetizer, two mains and two side dishes with water. No drinks and no desserts. The total came to $197 with tip and tax. The coupons can only be used for food apparently, nothing else and there is no change for the difference. So to use the two coupons we would have also had to pay an additional $68+ for the water, tip and tax. Each bottle of water was over 300 pesos . The second time we went to just have desserts and appetizers for the second $100. We decided not to have even water and coffee or tea was not included either and drinks were all over 300 pesos each. Tap water was not available. I regret buying the coupons and found the restaurant rules for them ridiculous. Service was fine, love the setting, food was well presented and done. But it's just not worth the price anymore.

   Eh ido varias veces ,siempre ha sido muy bueno pero ahorita como que algo pasó que les falta sazón o no lo sé por qué las empanadas buen término pero el sabor muy Ekis , mi esposa pidió una pasta y muy dura , la regresamos pero siguió siendo igual yo pedi otra pasta y no estaba mala pero era demasiado queso , para pastas totalmente deberían de ir al hermano mayor que se llama Romeo y Julieta y pícaro que son de los mismos si debería de regresar a sus inicios que fue extraordinario y no digo que está malo pero les faltó sabor en general a todo. El servicio fue excelente como siempre.

   This is a great hidden gem. We did the five course chef special and we were not disappointed. Great food, ambiance, and views.

   We had the 5 course tasting menu. It was fabulous. Highly recommend. Staying at Diamante so it was an easy commute.

    We have dined here many times and while expensive, the food has always good and the general dining experience is enjoyable. We have been here twice in the past week and that experience has not endured. Last night, the service was almost non- existent. It even went so far as when we asked for a refill of water and another glass of of wine, the server just never came back. My wife eventually went to the bar to ask for water. This has been our experience both times this week. They do appear to be understaffed as far as waitstaff is concerned but that should not translate to a poor dining experience for the customer.

    Dear Paul, we do really appreciate your comments to us. We do value it a lot, and certainly this is not the type of experience we want for our clients. We have been trying to make our people understand that our most valuable good are clients, so knowing this is happening certainly doesn´t show the effort we are doing with our staff. I just can ask for a new opportunity in order to erase that bad experience. Please feel free to contact personally if you are willing to give us this new chance.
