Piccola Cucina Osteria it's our gem in the heart of SoHo. The Chef and owner Philip Guardione opened in January 2013 to bring in the city the real taste of Sicily.
Friendly service with a buzzy atmosphere, all in a typical Italian restaurant setting. It is matched by home cooking like you would expect to eat in Italy, which is one of the keys to the success of the restaurant. Fully renovated in 2021 the location looks warm and cozy.

Our other two Piccola Cucina locations in Manhattan are:
Piccola Cucina Estiatorio ( 75 Thompson street )
Piccola Cucina Uptown ( 106 E 60th Street )

Piccola Cucina Osteria accepts online requests for parties smaller than 6 guests only.

Second time visiting Piccola Cucina - Spring Street; went back after several years as our first experience was positive. Good all around. I liked the idea of the ‘deconstructed’ tiramisu being prepared at the table but it didn’t quite hit the mark… the Savoiardi biscuits were too crunchy and there was a distinct lack of liqueur. Other than that, the food was good and ambience cheerful without being too noisy or overbearing (it is a very small space).

Awesome food and service. Try the cacio pepe and the tiramisu. Just delicious! We enjoyed there and certainly will go back to have a fantastic experience again.

Dinner was wonderful, mostly because our waitstaff Elideth was able to make the perfect wine and food recommendations. Our table was in the middle of what is a small space, so it felt crowded. But the delicious meal and wonderful service made up for that.

First time at this gem. At outside on a cool fall night but they restaurant had overhead heaters, so no problem there. The tables are small and close together as the restaurant is very small. Arrived at our reservation time and was seated within 5-10 minutes. The place was packed at 6 pm - that tells you something! The pasta is the MUST do as it is all homemade pasta and you can tell the minute you try it. My husband had considered a piece of fish but the waiter hesitated a minute - then explained that they are KNOWN for their pasta. My husband was glad the waiter expressed an opinion for him. He LOVED his dish and I loved mine. Enough for leftovers for both of us, too. We did share an appetizer special that was outstanding. Pricing was very reasonable. Will definintely go back!
