   Came here with my family and enjoyed our meals and the setting but we could have had better service. The maitre d' was really welcoming and great with our daughter but the rest of staff were a bit disjointed and didnt seem to talk to each other. We ended up with the wrong dish but our server was really hard to get hold of and the waiter who served the food didnt seem to know if what he was giving us was correct.

   We celebrated our parents’ 50th anniversary at Piccolino Hale, and it was an evening we’ll never forget. The hospitality was incredible from start to finish. Pasquale, the manager, went out of his way to make the night special—he even surprised Mum with a beautiful orchid, which made her so emotional. It was such a thoughtful and personal gesture! The table was elegantly prepared with a lovely card for our parents that brought tears to Mum’s eyes. The food was outstanding—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They even prepared a surprise dessert with “Happy 50th Anniversary” written on it, which added the perfect touch to the evening. The team was attentive, warm, and made us feel so cared for. Piccolino Hale didn’t just host our celebration—they created a memory we’ll always treasure. Thank you, Pasquale, and the amazing staff for making it so special!

   A really good Sunday lunch. Service was excellent and we enjoyed a very leisurely afternoon. The mixed antipasto was excellent …..such a lot we had to take some home at the end of the meal! Roast beef was perfect - roast lamb slightly on the raw side of pink. Fresh vegetables were excellent…..but roast potatoes a bit past their crispness and rather soft. The sharing pudding was amazing! We would definitely recommend - and will return!

    As always the food was amazing, fabulous service, Domenico & Pasquale made our anniversary special, my daughter has a nut allergy & they were great as always but I felt so sorry for them they kept apologising for the delay.
