Chef Joel's cuisine is inspired by the tapas bars of the Basque country (Southern France & Northern Spain) with a focus on seafood, preserved meats and raw foods. Join us for lunch, dinner or snacks & drinks 7 days a week.

We wet for wine night and thoroughly enjoyed the education. 100% not pretentious , just fun. The food is always exquisite and unique .

Wonderful first experience and will definitely be back- hopefully when there isn’t a really noisy large group sitting inches from us!

Overall the food and service is always great! I would recommend picnic for people who like sharing, as it is tapas style. I do wish they had more mocktails on the menu, they have a full bar and recently I went to the common stove and had a really great mocktail I was disappointed that it wasn't on the menu at picnic.

Fun tapas bar! Server was lovely and very knowledgeable. Wine and cocktails were fantastic. Highly recommend!

Small but quaint. We had the prix fixe lunch menu and the appetizers ended up being quite filling. The carrot salad have a lovely smokey flavour and the chicken sandwich was awesome. Had to take leftovers. Would definitely come back again.

I took my wife to PICNIC for Valentine's Day. Even though it was pretty busy, the staff too the time to answer our questions and help out with menu and drink selections. This was out 2nd time to PICNIC and we are looking forward to showing it off when friends come to visit. Such a wonderful experience and amazing staff. I highly recommend the shishito peppers!

Food was fantastic, we ordered some of the veg. tapas and lots of oysters. Half price oysters is such a great deal especially for the great quality! Our server was amazing too. If we are ever in Orilla again, we will come by. :)

Closest to Spain tapas experience I’ve had! As someone who visits Spain often the bar is set high for tapas. This was spot on and such a comforting experience. Excellent mocktail options available and serve was lovely! Will be back :)
