Service a bit slow, we had to get waitresses attention to order. Food was good but could do with being a bit Hotter. Lady came in with 2 dogs which she sat on the chairs at her table. Manager asked her to go into the main pub. I spoke to the manager who explained the dining room is dog free, the main pub is dog friendly.

Absolutely terrible experience. Service was so slow, waited 45 minutes between starters and main course then 1 meal was not what we ordered. Would not recommend.

The food was excellent, and it served as and when wanted. It was really tasty and presented well. Service was very good and with a smile, pub decor was very pleasant and gave a good atmosphere. Really enjoyed our relaxing family get-together. I would definitely recommend the food and service and look forward to visiting again.

Quick service and overall the food was excellent but could have done with some more meat on the main meal

It was 8pm on a Sturday evening, it was raceday ay Haydock Park and the front of the pub was bouyant. We were sat in the dining room which was warm and friendly we could hear the DJ but easily speak to each other. The food was very good, and served by an excellent polite and friendly Waitress. One of us had steak for mains medium rare and it was, the other pork belly mash on greens which was very good. Staff gave us just the right amount of attention. And were nice and prompt with drinks for us In all a great start to a Saturday evening, Thanks team Pied Bull xx

Delicious food and fantastic vegan options. Very good value for money and the staff are extremely helpful, kind and have excellent customer service.

Service was fantastic, but the food was nothing special. More attention needed in how to cook a steak required. I thought everyone knew how to cook steak however this was not good.

A lovely Sunday lunch in a cosy pub with really friendly staff, great food and great service. Couldn't really ask for much more!

I can highly recommend the Beef Sunday Roast, everything was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent!
