Enjoyed the ambience and the fact I was out with the family and didn’t need to cook. Had the mussel entree and prawn main - felt that both dishes tasted the same and turned out had the exact same ingredients but read very differently on menu. Was a little disappointed by that. One a sep note, the fish looked fresh and delicious - rest of the family enjoyed it.

We are most thankful for the service at Pier St. We took a 4-day weekend trip to Portarlington from Melbourne. We came as a family of 4 - with two boys under 5. We booked in for an early dinner session at 5pm cause we know how challenging it can be for us and the restaurants to have kids dinning in. The service at Pier St was above and beyond, super friendly, super catering to our kids, the staff there at the time was really good with our kids (thank you!) . We loved every minute of our stay there. For once our dinning experience (eating out with kids) was not as hetic as it normally is. Thank you so much for everything the food was fantastic very fresh, full of flavours and very delicious. We had a wonderful time and we couldnt phrase highly enough of the service top to bottom at Pier St. Thank you!

Great spot by the bay in the sunshine, the cafe has been renovated since my last visit and it's really quite modern now. The seafood focused menu is interesting and our two dishes were delicious. Using the QR code ordering system outside was easy and fast.

Warm welcome, friendly but not ott. Food hot, fresh and tasty. Great local wine list. Did I mention the spectacular view at sunset?

Outstanding breakfast as always! Even the fussy 14 year olds were impressed, especially with the hash browns. Highly recommended

First time visitors from Echuca. Googled Pier St as we saw it the night before on our exploration of the town, seafood dishes were what we were after, so we knew what we wanted when we booked online for dinner and the sea views, we were not disappointed. The servers were lovely and made sure we were ok, the food was delicious and melted in your mouth. First time trying the Portarlington mussels, being kiwis we love our green lip mussels, thumbs up. We didn't have dessert only because we had Daniels donuts back at our campsite, but definitely will next time we visit.
