    “Autumn is my favourite season,” says head chef Philippa Sibley, who will bring the forest floor to the Pinotta dining room. Think artichokes and chestnuts. Game, pigeon and yabbies. Figs and blackberries, foraged and turned into treats both savoury and sweet. Slow down and enjoy the last of the long afternoons. A collaboration of season, inspiration, food and wine, and perhaps a hint of poetry. Ticket price includes five courses from Phillipa Sibley and matched wines from winemaker Alex Byrne.

    I ordered a pasta, squid ink and prawns it said, suggested by the waiter which costed $45. The dish had some tiny pieces of prawns that you could count on one of your hands with no sauce at all. It was dry, it was tasteless. Paying $45 for that was a total waste of my money. I could have bought a bag of quality prawns with this money and i get that i chose to dine there but honestly what do they charge their customers for? Having won one hat doesn't and shouldn't mean you have to overcharge your customers by compromising what you serve them. I've been to this place many times before. They've increased their prices ridiculously. They have only two pasta dishes one costing $40 and the other $45. The $40 is just gnocchi with tomato sauce and cheese. Just make it home with the same money and eat for one week or find another place cheaper. Melbourne has plenty of them. Don't be deluded by their recent one hat.

    We had a birthday party of 12 and the food was absolutely astounding. Pinotta staff catered for everything with such pleasant care for us. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. Thank you.

    We love going to Pinotta, the food is always cooked to perfection, we love the feed me option and have a taste of what is in season, merci Philippa for the delicious food. Service is also impeccable, very professional and friendly. We will be back!

    Having read a glowing review before we booked to have lunch, we were looking forward to our meal. An entree salad built around fior di latte was dominated by large chunks of the dairy product. So, the balance and presentation was not very appetising and one of the chunks was left uneaten A pasta dish with green Spring vegetables was tasty enough, if a bit over-seasoned, and the vegetables were lost in the pasta. Again, it didn't present well. It wasn't a BAD experience; just disappointing

    Great food, excellent attentive staff and a lovely ambiance. We attended for a quick lunch before the Grand Final with limited time. The staff accommodated all our needs.

    Came here for lunch during the week with my Nonna and zia who are quite old. We had a great time, staff were really friendly and patient and food was delicious. We will definitely be back
