   It was our first time and it was New Year’s Eve . Our original tune needed to be changed as they didn’t have enough staff for the original sitting Initial impression disappointing given the experienced background of the group . Experienced Staff on the night were very friendly but the inexperienced staffing showed with our mains all coming at different times and two dishes when asked where they were had been delivered to another table. While these dishes were very tasty one looked like it had been half eaten as the serving was very small … regardless the dishes really should have been replaced and fresh ones delivered to our table . While it was New Year’s Eve and busy I would think that everyday would be busy … However it was an enjoyable night & we’ll be back - hopefully staffing issues will be resolved

   Perfect, perfect, perfect. Food was delicious, stuff were super friendly, and THAT sunset was incredible. Highly recommend.

   Only went here because I got a voucher for Christmas, all the comments from others had been bad. There were no pizzas so the menu was halved. The only main meal for a vegan was a lentil salad where they can leave the lamb or haloumi out (you pay the same which is a pet peave for vegans). I sat watching my partner eat until he had finished his starter and main, when I finally got my main it had a whole eggplant which wasn't prepared properly and was too bitter to eat. The waiter did offer me a free side of asparagus which was nice. It was a really bad night. Should have stayed home.

   Started weird because they seat in blocks at services, so we had to wait for our table. There were about 60 people waiting in line at our 7.15pm reservation time but the line moved fairly fast. The service crew are very young and really trying their best. Four meals. Two steaks ordered medium but came very rare - which is weird because they are served sliced so the chef either didn’t check or didn’t care. All you could taste was oil in the fish and chips. Seafood Pasta was tough and tasteless - like supermarket marinara mix warmed in a pre made sauce. Pizza was not available. We didn’t stay for desert. Charged for corkage and drank my beer from a can as no glass was offered. The other cans were left on the floor as nothing was offered to manage them. No idea what my corkage fee was for! Maybe you’re supposed to bring an esky? Waiter needs to check his personal hygiene. They offered bread and we didn’t realise it cost $10. We were so disappointed because we love The Grounds. It’s crazy that this venue could get every single moment so wrong. Single course dinner for four with no sides and two soft drinks cost $215 - we were there less than 80 minutes so we took the kids to Messina in Miranda so it felt like we had an actual night out.

   Great spot, very clean and staff were polite. I ordered eggs on toast, haloumi and bacon (well done). The eggs were nice but the bacon and the haloumi were cold. The haloumi didn't taste like it had been cooked and the bacon was only just cooked.

   They seem to be struggling with quantity of customers. Meals served at inconsistent times. I hear the pizza is good.

   I had a confirmation email, booking was on their computer but there was no table on their plan for us. Once seated, we had to ask for a corkscrew for our wine bottle then left to open the bottle ourselves, yet we were still charged corkage. Food came quickly, entree plates hadn’t been cleared when mains arrived. It was quite noisy, so we were happy to leave without ordering dessert.

   Unfortunately we went on a day that was incredibly hot. The staff could not open our wine as they are not licensed but charge $10pp to use there bins. (This is more than licensed venues in Cronulla). We were served more than 8 glasses of ice to help cool our drinks but they were served In very hot glasses straight from the dishwasher. The table water was the same warm. We could not get any relief from the heat. Therefore we hardly ate our meals. Overall the Vibe and decor and everything else was great but will wait to try again when it’s cooler

   Food was amazing, service was fabulous , best place in Cronulla to enjoy a dining experience with friends , ever ever!!!
