   The food and table service were excellent. Only complaint was the host at the front door who had a real attitude. Didn’t ruin dinner but this person needs to have better customer focus. This is not the only restaurant in town and it’s not in the top 10 in Pittsburgh. Will still return.

   Our party of 5 enjoyed a dinner together before a holiday show here. We were seated promptly, service was great, and the food was incredibly delicious. A couple of us had the Linguini Florentine and it was amazing!

   I am not sure what is happening to this restaurant. The pizza oven was broken, so you could not order pizza and then I was told that the expresso machine was also broken when I tried to order coffee. We also ordered entrees, but had to ask for bread which typically would come before your meal. The prices for Italian food have also skyrocketed there. They used to be packed with customers, but last night were not busy at all. It was very disappointing, especially with how much I spent.

   The food and service were both excellent. We ordered pizza, pasta, soup, and dessert and all were very good! The server was very attentive and helpful.

   Great food! Little drafty in the winter though with the door opening and closing a lot. I recommend dinner for sure!

   It was a very slow night, and our waiter ignored us. He didn’t offer any suggestions he did not refill our water. He did not clear our dirty plates. This place has gone downhill very quickly.

    We have dined at Il Pizzaiolo many times. Once again, it proved to be a great experience. We shared the fried calamari, a prosciutto and arugula pizza and a chicken parmesan entree. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious! Thanks to the team for another job well done!
