Everything was great. Food was delicious. Our octopus was a bit over charred and tasted burnt but everything else was great. The pesto pasta was top notch. The ambiance was great. Music was a little loud but I understand the vibe that you’re trying to achieve. Thank you. Great time.

Our server was AMAZING!!! She truly loves taking care of people and the food was OUTSTANDING. Definitely will be a must have when in Chicago!

Hallie was a fantastic server! The food was so good and I definitely plan to be back again in the future. Highly recommend the rigatoni vodka and salted caramel gelato!

Great food. They were super busy, so we had a smidgen of a wait. Would definitely recommend an go back.

Excellent service from Carlos. Parmesan fries are a must. The special bruschetta was excellent … rigatoni with vodka sauce was very good. Had a little kick to it I highly recommend it… desserts were stellar. The firecracker candles were fun for the birthday celebration. The enclosed patio was a treat on a sunny day. Never felt rushed. The only reason I did not give it a five was because I was disappointed in the pizza. We had the arugula with prosciutto. The toppings were sparse and a little bland.

So happy I found this place! It is gorgeous and our server was super cute and great at her job! The pizza was PHENOMENAL! I got the cauliflower crust (avoiding gluten) and it was crispy and delicious! It tasted exactly like a regular pizza crust! So tasty!!

Servers took bit to come round but it was a very busy night. Playlist was really good and the pasta was also really good.

Thank you for making my daughter’s 18th birthday dinner celebration with her friends so special! The personalized menus, along with the fantastic table, great service and fantastic food made it a very memorable night for her. Great job Pizzeria Portofino!
