“Pizzeria Salvy is my father’s Philadelphia story. It’s a story of persistence and perseverance. It’s a story of my childhood, and all the flavors and experiences I remember.”

The latest from acclaimed Chef Marc Vetri, Pizzeria Salvy borrows its name from Marc’s beloved father, Sal. “My father has been at the center of everything when it comes to my restaurant career,” says Marc. “From the meatballs to the family meals he has made for the last 25 years, it’s only fitting that we dedicate this project to him."

Pizzeria Salvy offers a curated selection of 12-inch pizzas. Salads, seasonal vegetables, and (of course) Sal’s Meatballs round out a menu inspired by heritage and heart, family and Philadelphia.

From November 30th to December 28th, Pizzeria Salvy will be open from 11:30am to 6pm offering our regular lunch menu all day and a variety of Buy One, Get One slices to enjoy in the pizzeria or for takeout. Come visit the Comcast Technology Center, featuring The Sphere experience, and the adjacent Holiday Spectacular in the Comcast Building for a fun-filled holiday Saturday with the whole family.     What a delightful surprise. We were looking for some artisan pizza, salad, and a cocktail. We found this hidden speakeasy"ish" spot in the basement of 1800 Arch Street essentially seeming like a random pop-up. Yet, it has a very cool vibe created by lighting and simplistic decor with the grand pizza oven with mosaic embellishments  (Marra Forni) being the focus of the wide open space! The food was fantastic, exactly what you would expect from a Vetri restaurant. The pizza was so delicious, the chopped salad with the perfect blend of ingredients, a good selection of beer and some delicious signature cocktails. We loved it!

    Welcome back to pizza, Marc Vetri! Outstanding food and service. We had meatballs, Caesar salad, and eggplant pizza. All were great. Our server was friendly, courteous, & professional. We have our GO-TO pizza place now.

    Food is delicious, including a variety of excellent pizzas. Try the one with local mushrooms. We loved the meatballs. Our waiter was especially helpful.

    Delicious pizza and wonderful salads with excellent staff and service! We expected greatness after having enjoyed Vetri's many wonderful venues over many years. But when we saw that it was an open "food court" setting, we were a bit skeptical. It's far from the original Vetri, but the only serious lack is the physical setting. The quality is exactly what we expected - it's tops. Like any fine restaurant, the kitchen is very accommodating. My wife doesn't like cheese, so they made her a chopped salad without the cheese, and it was a really fine salad! Her margherita was an excellent pizza, and my eggplant pizza was even better (or at least I think so...) It's worth a trip into town - despite the pedestrian setting, Salvy is destination dining!

    The pizza was disappointing. The best part of the meal was the dipping sauce that came with the arancini. For the price spent, we were underwhelmed and have no reason to return.

    The perfect lunch spot! Service is great, very efficient. Food and drinks arrived quickly but we never felt rushed. All of our dishes were excellent.
