We’ve been to Pizzeria Virtu a few times and have always had a lovely experience. Last night was no different in regard to service and ambience. Maria was attentive and kind. We ordered two dishes we’d had before so that our family (it was their first time) could taste a couple of our favorites. Overly spicy and hot! So much so that palates were overwhelmed and mouths and tummies were on fire! Not pleasant. Chilis are awesome. We love them. But we pulled them out of our food as best we could. The batch used last night were either not prepared properly or just an extra intense bushel that needed to be tasted beforehand and used with caution.

This place is amazing. The food was solid but I want to say the whole service staff was top notch. I’m in the restaurant business and can only hope my team runs as well as this place did. Highly recommend it.

Loved this quaint treasure for a cozy family get together. Service was outstanding and the meatballs to die for! Pizza was good but was not as crispy as it could have been cooked in a brick oven. It was still very good. The tiramisu was more like pudding in a jar and for a take home tiramisu they poured it into a paper to go container so it was leaky, runny and all masked together. I would however recommend the Nutella pudding. It is meant to be served in a jar, unlike Tiramisu, so it was super good! All in all the evening was wonderful and I will go back again. Get there early because it’s popular and parking is on the street.

Ambience was fantastic. We were dining very early so we appreciated the quiet restaurant. Burrata was very good. The figs and Procuitto along with the almonds went together so well. We decided to order the ragu and pizza even though we knew we couldn’t finish it all that night. Could not pass them up. Ragu was very flavorful. The pizza made in front of us, also a hit.
