Chef German Rizzo has brought his East Village Italian-Mediterranean Small Plate Restaurant to Glen Cove! Chef Rizzo's style menu sets an experience to enjoy a shared meal with family and friends.     Our server was Walter. He was very professional. This was the first time our party of 4 dined at Plado and Walter made suggestions about "small plates" and sharing. Food was creative and delicious. Bottle of wine prices were reasonable. We will be back.

    The food is delicious and fresh. The ambience is beautiful. Definitely recommend it, I have been there twice and plan to return. The smoked scallops were out of this world and so was the white bean hummus. The gin with the ginger cocktail 🍸 amazing 🤩

    This was my 3rd time going to Plado. I am a vegetarian and I found something new to eat each time. Took some friends for a birthday celebration and they loved the variety of dishes. I missed the cannoli which would’ve put the dinner over the top but the dessert we got left us all very satisfied. Would go back a 4th time.

    Excellent restaurant in a lovely setting. Each dish was delicious and we all enjoyed the varied and interesting menu.

    A wonderful local restaurant with great service, food,and overall experience. A must when visiting Glen Cove. I highly recommend and shall return.

    The food is outstanding. Creative and flavorful. The wild boar was a special and fantastic. The smoked scallops on the regular menu is such an amazing dish, a must try. Also really loved the crispy baby artichokes-definitely get it with the prosciutto.
