   This was a miss for me and my 3 friends. Service was slowwww even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Food was ok but way overpriced. Best thing we had was the garlic bread. Save your time and go to North Italia.

   We have dined at Plate many times. Always a wonderful experience. The food is wonderful. My husband had Salmon and said it was excellent. My daughter had Amatriciana and said it was great. Our server was great, very attentive and personable. The atmosphere is such that you can talk and hear each other. Overall a great place.

   The focaccia bread was amazing. I had the Chicken Marsala, was really good, especially the mushrooms! Could have been a little hotter, overall very good. Our server was very attentive!

   I usually LOVE Plate, but I feel the food wasn’t as good as it’s been in the past.The Caesar was overdressed. Steak frites - fries were a touch underdone and i was disappointed in the amount of steak provided (5 small slices). Bucatini was tasty though! I will be back, but I hope it’s improved just a bit.

   Our server was exceptional--she paced our meal perfectly and responded to all requests, questions; the room was noisy but they did honor my request for a booth which helped

   One of our favorite restaurants, Excellent Bolognese! Staff very friendly. have Corkage fees for opening personal wine, but reasonable.

   This was a special birthday dinner which was noted on the reservation. They were very busy with large parties and tried to push us to eat at the bar. Then were 20 minutes late seating us. No question or acknowledgement about the special occasion. Service was not paced well, appetizer took a long time but we couldn’t enjoy it because the entrees came so quickly after. Cheese tray appetizer was very good but not as described in menu - little cheese, mostly meat and bread. Gnocchi was undercooked and over salted - inedible. Red sauce on the pasta was also over salted and too garlicky. Meatball was tasty. Then a nasty surprise at the end when they included a surcharge for using a credit card even before we told them how we planned to pay. Manager adjusted the bill after hearing our complaints, which offended us as that was not our intent in speaking to the manager. We will not try it again.

    Reservations were for 5:45 and by 6:10 we decided to sit at the bar. The table wasn’t ready for us until 6:45, at that point we stayed put at the bar.
