Booked a last minute reservation and got sat about 20 minutes afterwards. Beautiful restaurant, great location, our server was truly amazing. I got a tanqueray and the wife had a few cocktails, decent selection, not a bad price. We had the truffle gnocchi which were pretty good. My wife’s food was phenomenal, the cheek risotto. I went with the lamb on the recommendation of the server, but felt so horribly jipped and disappointed when I got my $40 plate and the lamb chops were exclusively fat. They look like all meat but after cutting into them there was maybe, maybe 1 or 2 oz’s of actual meat combined on the 3 chops, and it would be extremely generous at that. Felt I couldn’t say anything because I’d already cut into the food and as a server myself it’s such a hard thing to complain about. Good food though and our server was great, I will definitely order something else next time.

We made a reservation for our 15-year anniversary and got seated at a beautiful corner table with nice views. The food was excellent. We loved the bruschetta, salads, and pastas. Our waiter Drake was amazing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Originally had planned for a quick Happy Hour, but after reading the menu...we opted for a full dinner. Pasta Bolognese and Sausage Pizza. Extraordinary tastes.

Wow, this is bad. They seem to be attempting to make up for bad food by faking high end restaurant attributes. My second time there and same assessment.

We ordered the truffle gnocchi as an appetizer and it was just a mushy mess that tasted like uncooked flour and milk with no taste of truffle whatsoever. I asked the waitress if perhaps there was shaved truffle that was supposed to be atop the dish. She had no idea what I was talking about. She said that the dish was made with truffle butter and they could remake my dish. I declined. Our meal took forever to arrive and when it did clearly it had been sitting for some time and was cold and the seafood in the dish was overcooked. The waitress was clearly “thrown off”. Finally dessert arrived and it was the best part of the entire meal. I will not return to the restaurant. Certainly didn’t live up to the reviews that it received online.

I am so sorry to read of your experience with us on Wednesday. Our server should really have done more to correct the issues when they were brought to her attention. I apologize for the lack of attention to detail on your visit with us. We spend every day working to give the best food and service. In this case we failed on both. Took them 30 mins to seat us even with a reservation . Extremely slow service , took 15 mins to just get the attention of the server to put in our order. The order took too long and server forgot to put in one order. Took very long for the incomplete food to show up. The food was at the best just mid. You don’t get value for your money. Extremely high priced for the pathetic service and okayish food . Would not recommend .

Love Plate in Leawood. The atmosphere is wonderful-very relaxing with a lot of positive energy. The food is superb and the service is professional and friendly. Great expierence.
