Poe's Tavern is a gastropub named for Edgar Allen Poe and located in Savannah, Georgia. Offering 24 draft beers and having an emphasis on high quality regional and local selections. It's known for hand cut fries and gourmet burgers that are ground in house and cooked to order. Fans of Poe's literature will be delighted when they read the menu and notice some of their favorite stories featured around the restaurant. Poe's Tavern offers burgers with names like the Raven, the Tell-Tale Heart and the Annabel Lee. Along with burgers, Poe's Tavern has soup, fish tacos and salads to satisfy any taste. This is one of our favorite places to eat in downtown Savannah. The food is always good and the service as well. I can say if you need a good burger or chicken sandwich you want to give them a try.

A really great place for drinks and light fare foods. Lot’s of funtastic F&B choices. Great ambience. A Savannah favorite.

A few blocks off the strip but worth the walk. When we first walked up we thought it was dead and didn’t expect much but we were wrong. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Super cute Edger Allan Poe theme art throughout and we appreciated the low noise level. Our waiter promptly took our drink order and recommended some beers on tap and even brought me a sample. Our food came out very fast! Burgers were juicy, chili was flavorful, and fries were good. My son in law scarfed it down so fast we questioned if he was going to come up for air lol. Don’t pass this place up.

Our server Ryder was friendly and efficient. Very busy with an excited sports fan vibe. Many kids which contributed to the noise level.
