Polanco Mexican Modern Steak House is a slightly elevated restaurant that will focus on fine dining touches with a lively atmosphere. Polanco features a prime selected list of steaks seared off and seasoned with an eye towards the ranches and cattle farms of northern Mexico. Bar operated by Miguel Valencia who is the head mixologist listing a cocktail selection based on agave varieties such as Mezcal, Ensambles and a unique selection of Tequilas.

The service was not good. Wrong meal was served and neither was hot. The waiter Alex was not attentive at all. The restaurant didn’t offer any consideration for serving me the wrong food. I won’t be patronizing this establishment again.

Order was never put in. Got our order an hour and ten minutes late. Order was put in incorrectly and didn’t get everything we asked for. Manager gave 20 dollar discount and her only excuse was well we’re slammed.

Noise level was pretty loud and unfortunately the music choice was not curated well for the restaurant and consisted of poor house remixes. The drinks were on the sweet side. On the other hand, the service and food were excellent. The servers were very attentive and provided great recommendations.The ribeye chicharrones and puerco ibérico hit. Would eat here again but this place would be a 5 star if the ambience improved

Very elegant restaurant with old European charm and design and with amazing food and drinks! Our server today (sorry I don't remember her name) was a true gem and she was as attentive and kind as it can be. This was my second time at this restaurant and will definitely be there again! Thank you.

Polanco Steakhouse exceeded all my expectations! The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a memorable night out. The food was absolutely amazing—every bite was packed with incredible flavor. Compliments to the chef, who truly brought my taste buds back to life with such creative and perfectly executed dishes. This is a place that knows how to do steak right. I can’t wait to return!

Like most steakhouses these days, Polanco was over priced and they provide too much food. While the food was very good, be prepared for a $400+ tab with tax and a built in 20% tip, and that’s with a modest priced bottle of wine in the $60-90 range. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was well appointed but I do feel like someone had their hand in my pocket. I think I will stick to cooking steaks at home.

Great service, awesome waitress, great recommendations, delicious food and beautiful decor and ambience. I will definitely be back for a date night

We’ve been there before once and food was great but not sure what happen this time!!! Service was extremely slow!! Food was so bad.. extremely salty !!! Caesar salad was overly drenched ed in dressing.. its feels as if I’m eating a whole dish of salad dressing… Weird scallop dish… scallop was like brine or something.. it was brown and texture was off.. weird looking scallops was sitting on top of a whole dish of corn and chorizo … not sure what’s that about… ingredients doesn’t go together.. plus extremely salty!!! I as if I can substitute asparagus for other veggie the chef said NO.. what if I’m allergic to it… Enchiladas was extremely salty and that gross red sauce!!! Taco meat was good but the tortilla was horrible it was soft and soggy!!! This experience was so bad that it really turn me away!! I made a reservations for Xmas eve but had to cancel it… for the price that I spent .. I would enjoy it elsewhere!! If food was good I don’t mind paying for it but the food was lousy. On top of food being horrible… our waiter Jose is extremely great! The one star is base on food!!

Hostess was not at all pleasant and friendly. Our waiter didn’t understand or have the answer to our questions we had about menu items. Sea Bass and lobster potato puree was my favorite. Will probably not be back here again.
