Service was top notch and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. The duck was delicious and the presentation was so colorful and pretty. My steak was so tender and tasty. We had a great dinner and the ambience was perfect.

Delicious food, great location and well priced.
No sommelier on site but staff were able to talk through the wine list.
Had the kangaroo skewers, wood-fired prawns, and steak with broccolini.
Would definitely visit here again.

Food was good. Overall very noisy restaurant but that’s just us. Service was lovely. We felt things were a bit untidy, olives served with no way of picking them up, the fork just bounced them all over the place, the waitress kindly brought some toothpicks (wooden cocktail sticks), these were fine. Main course took a bit too long to arrive.

We had the pleasure of celebrating my father-in-law's 80th birthday at this exceptional restaurant in Sydney, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Silvia and her team provided warm, welcoming service that made us feel right at home. The ambiance was enhanced by the open fires fueled by ironbark wood, which added a unique smoky flavor to the dishes.
Under the expert guidance of Head Chef Neil Nolan, every dish was a culinary delight. We indulged in the famous kangaroo skewers, which were perfectly tender, as well as the succulent octopus, delectable crab dumplings, and mouthwatering grilled prawns. Each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and creativity.
The meal was accompanied by an impressive selection of champagne and expertly crafted cocktails, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
We will undoubtedly return for more of this extraordinary dining experience. A top Sydney restaurant that truly stands out and won't disappoint.

Fab modern bistro. Busy and noisy at times and tables close so not the place for a quiet romantic assignation unless you book at a quiet time.
Everyone goes for the kangaroo skewers - which are indeed excellent, but try the duck and maple sausages - really tasty and nice texture.
Oh, and the music on the evening we were there was great - the chef’s playlist we gathered.
Lovely friendly helpful staff.
Not cheap but you’ll come away cheerful!

I ordered the aged sirloin and expected it to be more tender. It was still way more than I could eat. I’d recommend the eye of tenderloin for a more normal portion. I saw plenty of folks getting the Tomahawk steak.
Seating was outside at a bench. I’d have preferred more intimate dining for the price.
