   It was really easy to check into our cabana. And before we knew it, Chris the Bartender/Pool Attendant was arriving at our cabana with Cold bucket of Smart Waters and an amazing fruit platter. Ordered a sampling of menu items, that comes from their Cafe, Brass Fork, (Excellent choices but Breakfast is Bomb!). Everything came hot and great tasting. Very clean and well kept pool and area surroundings. Lifeguards were friendly and polite. Had a blast. I highly recommend using the app to book.

   There was no signage telling me where to go, and no one made an attempt to help me. Luckily I’m not shy, so I did eventually find my way to my cabana. They checked on me 3 times; one of those being the delivery of the fruit plate that came with my reservation. One time when the wind blew, a pop bottle appeared on the floor. There are no signs for the single bathroom, so I asked about that, too. There’s only a single outlet for charging a phone. The safe was locked, so I took my wallet to the bathroom with me. The furniture was uncomfortable, so I used all the pillows. Running a hand-vac in the morning probably would have helped. The music was clearly chosen by the young employees, not the 50+ year old patrons. The only channel on tv was channel 5, so I had it pretty loud. Definitely not worth $175, unless some major improvements happen.

   Staff members visited other cabanas to drink and party while totally neglecting their customers. Waited three hours for the complimentary fruit tray that was just sitting in their refrigerator. This place used to be great and we have been regular visitors for years but we will be taking our business somewhere else now.

   The place was perfectly beautiful and the cabana was Devine. Well worth the price of $200 for the whole day. The staff was short-handed but VERY attentive when you were interacting with them at the bar. It was quite understandable that they could not come and check on us and take our drinks as they normally would if they were properly staffed not their fault but they handled it with much grace. I will definitely be back again.

   Cabana price was high considering its poor condition AND unlike other places the price does not go to the food and beverage cost. Pool was understaffed but the people that were there did their best. Tip was automatically added at 20% which would have been fine BUT it was added not just to the cost of our food and drink but also to the $200 cabana cost. All in all it was ok, but I would absolutely not recommend this place for this kind of rental.

   Sunset needs to do better at upkeep. Cabana's not clean, trash found in corners and left in refrigerator, safes, tv',s and refrigerators not working in all rented cabanas. I went to 3 cabanas before we found 1 with all things working. Luckily I got there at 9am to pick mine out. Lifeguards need shaded areas, in 2 of the 3 cabanas I went to, Lifeguards were hanging out on the couches to get in the shade. Not a real good feeling to find them with their feet on the couch that I'm now renting for $200. Sunset needs to put some money back into the pool area and give training on customer service.

   Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the miss information regarding cost of renting cabana on open table. I wanted to reserve a cabana and it said $50 and that the reservation was for daybed and cabana but did not break down the cost and different prices day bed versus cabana. This was also not clarified on-site until I got my bill at end of day and was shocked to see $175 for cabana when I had thought the price was $50. When I asked I was told $50 is only for daybed and that lots of people have been confused and ask if it's $50. So it's not just me and needs to be changed in the online reservation for clear transparency of what is being reserved and what the cost is.

   Excellent!! Best place ever!!!! Great service, friendly staff. Even wone 200 on a slot on the way out. Good place for locals.
